#2 of 10 hotels in Somma Lombardo
Airport, walking distance to Terminal 2, offers its own version of runway chic minus the high-fashion price tag. Marrying smart service and technology with contemporary style, this modern hotel enables guests to work and play, meet and eat - all in the same space. The bright, airy lobby is a place to escape or to engage, with communal seating, free Wi-Fi and a great meal day or night. That flexibility follows guests to their rooms, where they can check out after checking in with a 42-inch LCD TV and sumptuous bedding, or keep the ball rolling with free Wi-Fi. The world meets in Milan, whether for Fashion Week, the Furniture Fair or an A.C. Milan or F.C. Internazionale Milano match. Nearby, admire the gothic spires of Cathedral Duomo; shop the world's oldest mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II; or catch an opera at Teatro alla Scala.

The hotel was very clean and plenty of towels. They were not in a rush to check us in but did want to make sure we had our Covid certificate as soon as we walked in the door. One reviewer said the rooms are huge- they are not. They are small. Beds are like sleeping on a concrete slab. Our Bonvoy member upgrade was a bottle of water… So glad I’m a member to be given a necessity…. Would be nice if the airport shuttle bus went to the hotel instead of 200 meters away at a closed terminal that nobody goes to… so everyone had to drag their suitcases.

First impressions of the hotel are positive but totally overshadowed by the fact that after having waited over 40 minutes for the non existant shuttle from Terminal 1 I had to pay €20 for a taxi to the hotel. Probably tomorrow morning I will have to pay even more in order to get to Terminal 1 to catch my flight. Naturally the absence of the shuttle was blamed on Covid…. my objection is that one of the selling points of the hotel, mentioned in all the blurb, is the frequent shuttle service between Terminals. Did Covid prevent them from updating the information they provided? Had I known I would have booked elsewhere.

Really good value for easy access to airport. We had a 9:20am flight to EWR and decided to spend the night here. I got a good deal with the triple A discount (even better than my Marriott bonvoy). It was a bit confusing on the train (not the hotel’s responsibility, just providing general information). The Lombardi malpensa train from Milano centrale stops at Terminal 1, but there was no announcements. If you are on this train, get off at T1, go up and exit. Look for the airport bus. The stop is right outside the Sheraton hotel. It is a quick ride to T2. You will see the Moxy immediately. It is less than 3 mins to walk. The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom is compact and beautiful. Hot water. Room was quiet. The bus runs on the hour starting at 5am and every 20 mins. It is right on time. Our flight ended up delayed by two hours so we were able to have a more leisurely departure from the airport. An aside about the airport if you are on a US airline, the check in counters are numbers 20-24 which is a long walk from where you are deposited. You will need to check in and then walk back to gate 12.

Hotel is located at Terminal 2, and can be easily reach with a free shuttle bus operated by the airport. (Ride takes 10-12 minutes.) Bus stops in front of Sheraton Hotel at Terminal 1 and in front of the ARRIVALS at Terminal 2. However rooms are not too large but are perfect for a short or even a long time stay. Hotel cleanness is 5*!!! Staff is very kind and reception is open 0-24 so no worries for late check-in or early check-out!

The staff friendliness is definitely the major plus point of this hotel! Every single one of them went the extra mile to help me out with requests and booking changes, on multiple occasions during my recurring stays. The hotel is new, clean and comfortable. I wish the airport authority (SEA) fixed the restrictive timings of the shuttle bus to the terminal.
