We have stayed in Le Mas Normand during two nights 7-8 July 2009. The room we received was a renovated charming attic: roomy, clean and very comfortable. The owners – Mylene and Christian were very friendly and kind and provide us with useful tips and guidance of the area. We were fortunate to enjoy a superb dinner that Mylene had...

My daughter and I stayed here during our visit to France. We had a large upstairs room with a huge bathroom. My niece and her family of four also joined us. They had a two bedroom suite with a private bath. We only stayed here for one night while visiting Normandy and the D-Day beaches. The location is perfect for...

This is a little slice of heaven in northern France. Mylene is an absolutely delightful hostess and Christian is a fabulous cook. If you can arrange to be there with a party of 4, and arrange it in advance, Christian's dinner is exquisite - - far superior to some of the food we sampled in Michelin starred restaurants in Paris!...

We very much enjoyed our stay in the "roulotte" (living wagon) behind the charming 18th century house. The breakfasts are great, with many home-made jams/marmelades, cakes, etc. Very copious and a perfect way to start the day. Le Mas Normand is close to the D-Day beaches and the beautiful cities of Caen and Bayeux, and a good place from which...

My partner and I spent a wonderful 4 days staying in Mylene and Christians gorgeous new 'gypsy caravan' in their garden. Far from being a caravan but more like a self-contained cottage it was everything we could have asked for...highlight being our own little balcony off the cottage to sit and enjoy the sunset and the fresh air. Extremely private...

Our room was next to the small babbling stream for which this B & B is named. We received a warm welcome from Mylene and useful advice about finding our D-Day Tour guide in Bayeux. We appreciated the tea and hot pot on the windowsill, and the table in the room where we could spread out our notes. The location...

We were late arriving and still were greated warmly by Mylène. She showed us to our room and we were shocked, it was beautiful! The room was above the kitchen and was beautifully decorated and welcoming. The bathroom was large and open with plenty of room for 2 people and plenty of hot water. When we woke the next morning...

We had only one day to spend at the Normandy beaches and found this beautiful B & B to spend the night. My husband and I and two teenage daughters stayed in the family room. It was very cozy with two rooms, and a bath. We had a fantastic breakfast before leaving the next morning. It is near Gold beach...

We cannot fault this guest house. We have stayed in many european cities, guest houses, hotels, self catering accommodation and this place stood head and shoulders above many of these. Mainly because of the warm welcome we received and the continuing hospitality of the hosts; the high standard and attention to detail that had been put into the accommodation, and...

We just returned from a family trip to Normandy and Paris. While visiting Normandy with our two teenage daughters we stayed at Le Mas Normand in Ver Sur Mer and it was perfect. We reserved the family suite which was two rooms and a bath. The accommodations were great - very clean and comfortable. Mylene and Christian are lovely hosts...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It all began in 1995, as we landed in Normandy… the southern girl that I was, will have to get used to the « Wild West », I let you imagine the disruption in our lifestyle! Then in the fall of 1997, we accidentally discovered our dream house: an old « ruine » of the 18th century, for which we literally fell in love at first sight! At the bottom of a dead end there was this lovely south-facing little farm. ... more   less
