Went to the hotel on personal recommendation from friends who stay at Gargnano each year. Hotel has charm, a feeling of history (photos on all floors and staircases), with beautiful tiling on the floors. Our Belvedere room had a balcony with lake and mountain view, with sound of lapping water. We swam in the lake each day. Restaurant food and service... More

The hotel is located a short walk from the centre of town (10 minutes) and right on the lake side. The room was large, well presented with great lake views. We ate outside so cannot comment on the restaurant itself, but the food was very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Clientele seemed to be a mix of... More

My husband and I enjoyed four nights at this lovely hotel. The west shore of Guarda is wonderful...even at the height of the season. Beautiful room and balcony, free parking adjacent to the hotel, which can be such a major issue/hassle, and the most wonderful hosts. We visited sister Hotel du Lac for a dinner overlooking the lake...amazing venue, amazing... More

This family run hotel is in the most beautiful part of Lake Garda, which can be stunning, but parts of which, particularly on the south end are very over developed and built up, Gargnano is a delightful and picturesque village, the Hotel a treat and we found the service consistently friendly and attentive. The garden terrace has stunning views across... More

Excellent location with beautiful views of lake Garda and possibility to swim. Great garden for relaxing and sunbathing with a cocktail in hand. Breakfast and dinner is served on the garden terrace weather permitting. The owners and staff are very friendly and service minded. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in - Giorgio and his family are fantastic hosts and look after their guests far better than chain hotels ever do. The location is fabulous, right on the lake. The garden restaurant is a treat - the food is superb. The rooms have been recently renovated to a high standard... More
