Our company had a conference at the hotel . I can just say it was an amazing stay. Wonderful room and superior food! I would definitely recommend a stay here. The location is fantastic only a few meters from the lake.

Not my usual type of holiday but I instantly fell for this hotel. Quirky does not even begin to describe this place but as a relief from the modern chain hotel this ticks all the boxes. The sheer beauty of the lake is complemented by the old world charm of this building. Cannot speak too highly of the staff who...

Nothing has changed since our last review three years ago ('A stylish hotel with heart and soul') and the Gallinotto family, with Signora Gallinotto at the head, and their staff are as gracious and welcoming as ever. We were made to feel at home - and our request to have dinner with the dogs (although dogs are not usually permitted...

Service was excellent, beautiful location and lovely food. We requested to eat outside, table prepared quickly. Don't be discouraged by fancy dining room. Porcini risotto was delicious as was the zabaglione prepared at table by maitre d. Also the cafe attached to hotel is great for drinks by the lake.

My wife and I booked in for a week's half board based on a variety of good reviews, and we were not disappointed. Our room had a very private balcony overlooking the lake and with every comfort (apart from tea and coffee making, which doesn't seem prevalent in Italian hotels). Although we were on the top (4th) floor there was...

Stayed in a side lake view junior suite which was very large with quality bathroom, well decorated and pretty perfect, side balcony view of lake with sunrise in the mornings, and perfect position for the swimming pool at the rear. I cant think any of the rooms would be less than very good with the obvious balcony rooms at the...

We stayed in another hotel and went for a good quality dinner. First dishes were very impressive (Foie gras and tartare of veal meat). However the main dishes were very disappointing. Both seemed overcooked as if people had forgotten us for a while. this strokes with the long waiting times we had before serving. The restaurant was for more than...

We spent 3 nights here recently and had an excellent stay. Good service and dining, lovely room and balcony overlooking Lago Maggiore. I was last there several years ago and am pleased to say that the hotel has maintained its high standard. Cannero Riveria is a small resort and has no main road at lake level so is much more calm...

We stayed for three days. The hotel was very pleasant, the room was spacious and clean, the staff were incredibly polite and the food was very good. It got a bit busy around the pool and some rooms need to keep net curtains closed because they can be seen into from around the pool. The location is right by the...

Lake-facing bedrooms are found on four floors—all are charming. Additional guestrooms look out to the swimming pool, as do ten self-catering apartments that can accommodate from two to four persons.
