Casabella is a nice bed and breakfast in the small village of Lesa. Enrico, who runs the place is a retired architect, which is evident in the house. The rooms are quiet, have a good size and our room had a big bathtub and balcony. The bed was hard and is not suited for people who prefer soft mattresses. The...

We stayed at Cassabella for 8 nights whilst visiting the area around Stresa and the Borromean Islands. Enrico is a wonderful and very welcoming host. Our room was comfortable and the area quiet. It is a short walk into Lesa, where there are restaurants and a lovely Gelatarria. Buses run regularly into Stresa and the railway station is a short...

The b&b is in an excellent location for sight seeing around Lake Maggiore, it is within walking distance to Lesa a small town at the side of the lake, offering shops, restaurants and cafes. Mr. Mercatali, our host, was very welcoming. gave us all the needed information about places to visit, places to eat at, and a lot more. His home made breakfast was truly amazing. The house location is perfect, very close to most the attractions you would want to visit. The house is very clean, a very quiet neighborhood.

I travelled with my mother and we had a wonderful stay in Casabella in June this year. Very luckily we were the only guests staying at that time and we got Enrico's undivided attention.-) We had a harmoniously decorated modern room, very quiet and relaxing, with a balcony and a little fridge. There is a little local beach (very basic...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Enrico, Flavia and Aurora welcome you to Casabella! We love our home very much and we dedicate our time to make tourist welcome very passionally, because it allows us to know and receive interesting people from all around the world. We like to offer them a good image of Italian quality, with bright and clean rooms, in a quiet and charming stay, special and joyful breakfasts, but more importantly, if required, travel consulting into historical, cultural and artistic sites of our area, that we consider one of the most beautiful in the world.Casabella's rooms are all double rooms, spacious and quiet, and with private bathroom. They have double or twin beds (you must specify your preference in booking time). When rooms are used as single rooms we will offer them to you for a lower price. All bathrooms are very recently renovated. The high level of finish, modern and functional design is very appreciated by our guests. The Casabella's breakfasts, included in the room rate, are usually served to you between 8.00 and 10.00 o'clock a.m.They are served in the lounge, on the mezzanine floor of the house, facing to the outdoor terrace that overlooks the garden. The basic service is on your table with extensive buffet integration. ... more   less
