We stayed at a Lido for two nights. Firstly, the view from the room, breakfast room/restaurant is out of the of this world! The room was very stylish with a lovely bathroom. The lake is so close, from your balcony it is almost like you are on it The family that run the hotel are so welcoming and deliver a...

The area around Angera is breathtakingly beautiful. Stayed on a business trip but could recommend it to travelers on holiday. The rooms on the first underground floor have a terrace and a view on the Maggiore lake. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was typical for Italian hotels. The only downside would be some details such as...

I have been there for 3 days together with my guests. We have rented 9 rooms.. From the moment we checked in we have been treated poorly and during the stay we all felt as not welcomed! Extremely poor service! However the area is stupendous and the beauty of Angera is worth the disappointment we had during our stay at...

I had been in the hotel for one night, during a business trip, and it was not the first time. Actually, it is my preferred hotel in the zone. The place is fantastic, with view on the lake, and there are rooms with full sight on the lake, whose water can be reached by stairs. The rooms are comfortable and...

We had no problems during a 5-night stay. Room quite adequate, large bathroom, small balcony overlooking the lake. Stefano speaks excellent English and is helpful and sympatico. Others have little English but if you have problem with this, stay home! Dinners were consistently very good indeed: let them guide you on what to eat. Overall, not luxury but good value...

This hotel is on the lakeside, with very nice view and also a nice garden close to the lake. So very good location away from tourists. The restaurant is really good, I recommend trying it, even if we had just a light lunch. Rooms are clean and renewed but quite basic. We had air conditioning in our room. Mitigating points...

On the "Laggo Maggiore" bank, this hotel does not have any other quality than its view on the lake/Alps and access to the lake. Old furnished rooms, not very clean, no mini bar, no air conditioned. The owner is impolite and rude, does not speak any language but Italian (and a bit of French). Poor breakfast. Don't stay here!
