This hotel (and restaurant) is build in the old walls of acquaviva. You can enter it from inside and outside the wall. During our short stay there was a typical Italian market with typical and local things. We've stayed in the hotel for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. The room had a beautiful view over part of the village and the valley behind the village. Far away the Sibilini mount show up. The room is as the rest of the village and hotel, old with a lot of wood. Super. Bathroom with bath and all other necessary things. The food in the restaurant was excellent, typical food. We had a nice antipasti that consisted of a mix of several thing (meat, olives, mushrooms, etc.) the grigliata and ascolana dish as the secondi made it complete. A hotel to go if you like old and typical Italian!…
O'Viv hotel is in the centre of the old town of Aquaviva Picena, and is 15th century, built into the old town walls. It is peaceful and full of character. Sorry but we didn't actually stay there as we were in an apartment but the restaurant was cheerful and friendly with very good quality and value food (in May), and the parts of the hotel we could see were interestingly renovated and attractive. It has views over the valley from one side and faces the narrow old street on the other. In May there are few people around (Italians all holiday in July and August) and the rest of the town was empty but here local people were eating!
