My family (two adults & two boys (14 & 15 yrs old) stayed here for 3 nights in March 2017. The location is in the jungle, with tremendous bird life (we saw toucans, white hawk, crimson tanagers, orioles, kingfishers, etc). Our family found the setting, location and services for the Blue Creek lodge wonderful. The spot right on Blue Creek is fantastic; great swimming & snorkeling, meals in an outdoor cabana and rainforest birds everywhere. Blue Creek lodge is in Blue creek town, on the way up to the cave. Beautiful location. Local staff are very helpful. New manager is probably way over his head vis-a-vis the management of the lodge. Our tree house was new, with no lighting or electrical facilitties in the upper loft. Bathrooms at the main restaurant. Froze the first night...

We went on a teacher trip here. The island is very small and you could walk around it in a day ( hour).There are no roads/cars.You need to take little boat from mainland It was fabulous! My wife and I came to Blue Creek Rainforest Lodge ready to spend a relaxing honeymoon. This is exactly what happened. The surroundings were tranquil and beautiful.
