We booked an overnight stay in Skala and chose this hotel for its location (near the beach and village) and it fit the bill for a short stay. The lady owner was so welcoming and had a chilled glass of orange juice awaiting us. The room we had was on the top floor with a large L shaped balcony which...

We stayed at Hotel Skala for a weekend to visit friends, we were having a two week stay in Sami. Voula, the owner greeted us on arrival with very welcome glasses of Orange Juice and a lovely smile. Our room was basic, but very comfortable and clean and had plenty of storage space. The Continental Breakfast was very good, with...

Parts of the hotel could do with some maintenance, eg the bathroom had some mildew. But clean, and the lady who owns it couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely go back here. Really enjoyed our stay and hotel is in a great location, plus good continental breakfast. All in all really lovely old fashioned hotel

We were welcomed with an iced glass of orange, much appreciated after our journey. The owners Voula and Vangelis were warm, friendly and very accommodating. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, surrounded by beautiful flowers, it is obviously very well cared for. Breakfast was fantastic .... more choice than you could ever wish for ... and beautifully presented. The first...

My fiance and I stayed here for 5 days in July and were overall more than satisfied with the hotel. It is run by a lovely couple who greeted us upon our arrival on the first day and were always available for anything we needed throughout the duration of our stay. We had a large balcony on the 3rd floor...

What a great little family run hotel (the oldest in Skala) if you want glass chrome and leather go somewhere else, but if you want a great location, the friendliest of owners and an old fashioned Greek hotel with bags of charm then this is a great base for your holiday. We booked through Olympic and to be blatantly honest...

Great Greek hotel. Put off at first glance, of the bathroom. ( I was very tired, on arrival) not usual 5 star hotel I am used to. Wasn't sure would fit into tiny shower. Approached owner, who could see my problem being 6 foot 4, and tipping scales over 22 stone. Very very accommodating. Let me use another shower, then...

Excellent and quiet location for beach and village, good breakfast (just need a toaster!), helpful staff, but pretty basic rooms (see room review). Fridge in the room was OK and very useful. Good idea to take your own kettle if you like your morning tea or coffee. Owner and staff very pleasant and helpful, and allowed us to keep the...
