Overall really lovely stay at Porto Skala. Perfect if you just want to chill with a book and soak in the sun. Food was really good, we were very impressed with the variety and everything seemed fresh and homemade. Breakfast fry up, cereals, toast, bread, croissants, fruit, cold meats, cheese, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice which was lush! Lunch...

My partner and I adore the Greek islands, its food and islander's ways so as first timers to Kefalonia, we were looking forward to this holiday. We chose AI with Porto Skala Hotel because it provided Greek food as opposed to the typical canteen-style fare often served up but we quickly realised this hotel was just not up to providing...

Just returned from this hotel after being there for final two weeks of the season. The hotel sits set back, high up, from the not so busy road with spectacular views. The rooms are styled as simple Greek houses all painted in different colours with fabulous planting all over the walkways. There are a lot of steps but also ramps...

I stayed here with my girlfriend last week in September. The location is wonderful and lovely sea views but the rooms are very basic. Most days having to wait at least 10 minutes for the shower to warm up. The staff are all really nice and helpful. When we arrived the shower in our room wasn't working and they resolved...

We chose this hotel as we like quiet rooms, with private balconies and fantastic sea views. Our first room was disappointing as we were in a block rather than the separate units, the reception staff were very keen to solve the problem and the next day our bags were moved into our new room, perfect in every way. We booked...

We stayed here for the first two weeks of September. All the staff were very nice and friendly. As previously mentioned in other reviews Maria was very informative about all the food on offer and came around to tables when there were new arrivals to tell people about the food. She also asked on our last night if we had...

First of all please ignore any negative reviews about this hotel, we stayed here for a week (14th - 21st September). There was 6 of us in the group, all with many years of travelling between us.I must admit I do not comment very often on the places I have stayed, but I don't like to see unfair and unwarranted...

We booked this hotel because of its 4 star rating and because of its location. The location did not disappoint but the hotel did on a few points. We might have been expecting too much but the room was not the best and we had the sinking feeling when first shown our room but then we opened the balcony doors...

Husband & I have been back for 1 week from this wonderful hotel. Please ignore the negative reviews. Yes - there are steps - approx 25 - that you have to carry your luggage from the coach to the reception on check in, so if you feel you have difficulties with this - discuss with your travel agent before booking...
