Hello, Tao Kombe has closed the spot forever, what a pity! It was a great spot on Gili Meno. I recommend Surya Bungalows, nice people, near the jetty. Gili Meno though has lost most of its corals last winter, due to a heavy storm with waves crushing into that coral garden on the southeast beach of Meno. Turtles are still...

The staff were very helpful and would try to help you as much as they could. The only one issue is that we asked our room to be cleaned and it wasn't. Sadly it was only cleaned once out of the 6nights we stayed. It wasn't nice sleeping in a bed that felt damp and had sand in. Sand is...

I stayed in Tao Kombo 4 nights and intended to stay longer since I really liked it initially. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding and the staff present reacted in an extremely aggressive manner. He tried to force the entry into my bungalow at night, yelling I should open the door to give him more money on the spot. This situation...

We stayed in April, and had originally booked just a few nights. After having a lovely few days, and seeing nothing as nice as it around the island, we decided to stay longer. We stayed around 2 weeks in the end, and never wanted to leave! We spent the first half of our stay in the family bungalow - which...

Very friendly and helpful staff, but information could be better: they forget to mention breakfast, wifi, towels, until you ask for it. The bar seems to close at 8, but when you ask it's always open :-) We traveled with 2 children (6 & 10). Family bungalow was a bit pricey and very basic, not that suitable for children. Double...

We booked B6 which was the only "open" bungalow, so we can't speak for the rest .There are no walls, with just a curtain as entrance and bamboo roller blinds as walls, with the whole set up inside a private enclosed garden area. The bathroom is very basic, but with limited fresh water on the island, more then sufficient for...

I really liked the garden, the birds in the morning and the crush of the waves when...

Great value-for-money place. The young owners, Federica and Pascal, have just completed the renovation of the lodges this year. They are friendly, hospitable and very relaxed hosts. Because of its location a few hundred meters inland, the setting is very quiet with the sound of the breaking waves in hearing distance but keeping you awake at night. Great pancakes and...

It was a pleasant little place but I should have shopped around. There were tons of vacancies on the island for less (not peak season) and they had complimentary wifi included. “try asking for rooms where the front door is facing roughly in the direction of the beach. you might get more air flow than we did , our front door was perpendicular to the beach so the sea wind was blocked by our walls and roof. you might have a cooler night with thedoor facing the direction of the nearest beach. ( the hotel is about 300 yards away from the beach, but at least get the direction right)”
