Best hostel on Gili! Definitely best place to stay on the island if you’re looking to meet cool people and have a sociable time :) everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and have all the essentials. Private rooms have brilliant AC and really good showers in the bathrooms. Plenty of space downstairs and a great full menu for lunch and dinner. Can’t wait to visit again!

Chandra and Danny were the absolute boys! Best bar staff going and taught me how to play guitar. Absolute legends, Kings of the hostel scene. They were brilliant at getting everyone involved in the drinking games if people were up for it as well! 10/10. Coming back here for sure

This hostel is amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air con. The bathrooms are gorgeous. There is one bathroom shared between 4 rooms (12 people) so they're nice and quiet too. The showers are amazing - hot water and good water pressure on Gili T are a rare find! Breakfast is really good, "healthy breakfast" aka museli, fruit and yoghurt is available every day and then they alternate between pancakes and eggs every day as well. The bar is good and fairly cheap, really good atmosphere in this hostel on a night time, with beer pong etc.

Only down sides to this hostel are that you aren't allowed to bring in any outside drinks, and also they have a silence policy after 10pm. All of the music gets shut off, the bar closes, and you're not even allowed to play music in your room or talk on the phone in the common area.

Good overall stay. Apart from we was told our booking would be reduced on arrival since the hostel is a construction site. When leaving we had to pay the full amount which ruined our stay. Be aware there is on going construction which is not mentioned anywhere

Way to over priced for what you get. The staff seem pretty friendly.
Beds where okay but rooms where not decorated at all same for the chilling area its just a huge concrete floor.
Pool is really big and nice.
Bathroom where ok but could be nicer..
All in all would not recommend to go there for the price they are way better Hostels on Gili for less money to stay.

Would not too much recommend it. Most expensive hostel I had so far in Indonesia. Atmosphere could be better: the common area is really basic. Rooms are good, only single beds with proper sheets :). Staff is not always super helpful, during one eve there was no one properly speaking English when I need help with a lost bank card; my laundry did not arrive first, while later on it turned out that it was there; the discount they provide when you take a diving course is mis communicated with the dive school (2 nights free vs 20% off is quite a difference). Location is a bit off central, did not really like to walk home there during the night. Would not really recommend it, but it is a nice place if you want to meet new people and do not care too much about the rest and paying a bit more :)

We were two older ladies looking for a cheap place to stay. We weren't there to party, but we didn't ever get kept awake (they ensure the party gets moved to the Jungle Bar down the road after 10pm) or felt like we were out of place. There are options for everyone. We stayed in the twin share room (no sharing with strangers), which meant we had our own bathroom, and the bathroom truly exceeded our expectations! Modern, spacious and clean. The room was also really great - comfy, clean beds, and great air-conditioning! The service was wonderful, we were really well looked after. The breakfast process was great, it's available any time you like between I think 7 and 10 or 11am, you just say what you want when you're ready, and they bring it to you as soon as it's ready. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the snorkeling day trip organised through the hostel - many things went wrong on that trip, but we think that might have been a one off, so don't necessarily take my word on that one.

This hostel is a few blocks back from the main drag, but that's beneficial as it means the surrounding streets are quiet. It's definitely a party hostel, however they have a really good system where they stop serving drinks at 10pm and take anyone who wants to continue drinking to Jungle Bar as a group so that people who want to sleep won't be disturbed. The staff are really nice, the food's pretty good, and there's an activity available every day (ie. paddle boarding, snorkelling, mini golf - all at an additional cost) and every evening (ie. beer pong tournaments, boys night, drinking games).

The bathrooms are a decent size, and there's 1 shower and 1 toilet for every 4 or so guests. Each dorm room takes 3 people, and no one has to climb on top of a pesky bunk bed as they're all single beds. All rooms have large lockers, and there's a power point and light above each bed - my favourite part was that the powerpoints are multi-region so you don't have to use an adapter. There are also powerpoints inside the lockers (adapter required) so you can leave something charging in your room.

The hostel is designed to guide you towards being social, and it's hard not to meet people.

A great concept.

I was SO disappointed with this place. After reading all the great reviews, my expectations were high, however they were not met at all.
I had a private room for 3 nights that had so much space for things like a fridge, hanging rails, yet the room didn’t even have hand wash in the bathroom.
The walls are painted grey and the ceilings are high with one tiny window you can’t reach- prison!
There is a glass-less window in the bathroom which is stupid, flies and bugs constantly are inside, the bathroom also smelt of SEWAGE.
The website says they have hairdryers, this is not true. When I asked for one, I was told guests had taken them and not returned - why are these not fixed to walls like every other place?!
There is no pool and nothing to do during the day but sit on the Hogwarts style long table or sit on a bean bag outside people’s dorms.
I had to ask FOUR times for room to be cleaned, they’d forgotten to clean it and I had to keep reminding them. Towels had brown/orange stains on.
They don’t have enough bicycles to cover all guests, it’s a case of first come first serve.
The location of the hostel is in the middle of the labyrinth style streets, I would highly recommend staying over the West side of the island - a lot nicer.
Overall I couldn’t wait to leave, this hostel is definitely for the age bracket 18-21, which I am far from!

My Mate’s is quite clean and they do a superb job of welcoming and being friendly to their guests. There was a very nice feeling from the staff. It was a too hot for me with no pool, but they anticipate having one next year. When they close the party down at 10 pm, they funnel guests to Jungle, which I assume they own. I dislike those practices... the staff are clearly trained to make sure we get there.... Ughhh :( The food and drink prices are reasonable, but the bed cost of $14 USD with no pool and mediocre breakfast was overpriced. The menu and free breakfast could be much improved with healthier and/or fresher ingredients. (M Box has a much better free breakfast and it’s $10 with AC and pool.) Our yogurt was barely cool (not cold) and that concerned us for food safety reasons. I enjoyed my stay and the vibe was excellent. In most respects, things were good.

When you get off the boat in the harbor turn right and walk towards the main mosque, just b4 the mosque turn left. Walk 150m and take the 3rd right at Thai garden. Walk around 200m to next intersection and you will see our purple wall and logo walk another 20m and the entrance in on the left
