If you re looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place. Located on the North shore of Gili Trawangan, they have a reef right in front, so it is perfect for snorkling. Spent 9 nights there, staff is handpicked, one can see they like working there as the boss is also a wonderful and very friendly and smart man!...

We were greeted by Putu - who could not do enough for us. After the long boat road we received a lovely welcome drink and invited to free afternoon tea also. The staff here - especially Putu, Anto and Didi really make this place special. Our Garden Bungalow was perfect - so peaceful and relaxing here. Breakfasts were fresh and...

Have just got round to reviewing Alam Gilli now.... We had a GREAT time at Alam Shanti in Ubud but were disappointed by Alam Gilli. Firstly the staff were not so friendly and the place did not have the same peaceful vibe. We were also disappointed by the small pool and the bungalows. We chose to stay in one of...

We spent a wonderful 3 nights at Alam Gili and can not fault this beautiful hotel. After a bumpy boat ride and even bumpier horse and cart journey, we arrived to be greeted by the charming staff and a fresh juice welcome drink. Thanks to other reviews on Trip Advisor my boyfriend had booked us the room which was directly...

We stayed at Alam Gili for 3 nights with our 2 young children and found it a really nice experience. The hotel is on the quiet side of town and quite a hike into town with children but a quick and exciting horse and cart ride - our girls loved it! The beach is quite rocky with lots of coral...

We stayed at Alam Gili for 4 nights are having spent the previous part of our holiday at their sister hotel 'Alam Shanti' in Bali. We arranged transfers (which encompassed cars, plane, boat and horse cart no less) directly through the hotel and they worked like clockwork which was a great relief. The welcome at Alam Gili was wonderfully warm...

We (including 2 children 9 & 13yrs) stayed here in June. We loved it and wished we had booked to stay longer. We stayed in the Garden cottages as we could not book one of the larger rooms - the place was almost booked out 4 months prior to our stay. Now we know why. Although being full the ample...

Staying at Alam Gili was definitely the highlight of our holiday. The staff were so friendly, the food was delicious and the accommodation was above expectations. Each morning we were warmly greeted and served the most amazing breakfast in the dining room on the beach, a couple of metres away from the crystal clear water. The accommodation was very spacious...

Great snorkeling, hammock right on the beach, on the quiet side of the island. Nicely decorated bungalows. We enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time. Some great new places are opening up on trawangan though so check your options.
