Aston Sunset Beach Resort - Gili Trawangan is located on a gorgeous island paradise just off the coast of Lombok. There are 3 Gili islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. Guest traveling from Bali can easily reach Gili Trawangan using a fast boat from Bali’s Serangan harbor(1.5 hr ride) or Padang Bai Harbor (1 hr ride). Once arriving at Gili T’s harbor, its about a 30 min bicycle ride to the resort. Guest staying on Gili T can also easily do day trips to the other islands as they are all less than a 15 min boat ride away. The most stunning sunsets are seen from the hotel’s beachfront, attracting visitors all over the island. Catch an idyllic photo at one of the swings facing the ocean, or plan a snorkeling trip to see some of the aquatic wildlife. The island has beautiful blue waters are pristine with white sand. During low tides, guests can see some of the coral which is protected to preserve the island's original beauty.

We stayed at Aston in March 2020, just before the lockdown. Gili T is a beautiful island with bars and small restaurants on one side, and hotels and resorts on the other. We had chosen Aston for our 3 day stay and we were not disappointed! to start off, they served us lunch by the beach which was amazing. They were also screening beach-side movies during the evening. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the food was superb! All in all, Aston clicked all the check boxes in my book. Will definitely return to Aston during my next trip to Gili T.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aston on Gili T, staff were lovely, our room was nice, view on balcony was lovely. Food was average at the hotel. A mini mart was a short walk to the right of the hotel when you walk out, lots of resturants in walking distant as well.
