Manta Dive Resort has 24 beautiful rooms, all appointed with air-con, hot water, mini-fridge & safety box. There are 3 swimming pools on site, a generator (for the many power cuts that you will not be aware of). You can snorkel directly in front of the resort and encounter many tropical fish species on our artificial reef. We also offer scuba diving, including dive courses and fun dives. Gili Air is the perfect place to learn to dive, enjoy fun dives, or relax by the pool, the choice is yours.

Everything about Manta Dive Resort is great! Helpful and friendly people who work there, a very good and convenient location. Also, breakfast is really good. Property is very well taken care of. Bungalows and surroundings are clean and neat. What we really liked is ecological mindset of Manta Dive Resort. Upon arrival, you are gifted with an eco-friendly tote bag so you don't need to take any plastics from the shops. Also, there is a water refill you can use for free, and again, no need to buy plastic bottles. I wish everybody on the island would follow this example, cos there is a heartbreaking amount of plastic pollution in the ocean. Manta Dive center is as the name states also great diving opportunity. Being totally new diver, I'm glad I started here, with kind guidance of dive instructor who goes by the name of Oreo (cookie!) who introduced us to the amazing new underwater world. I highly recommend this place and thank you, guys! :)

I cannot rate this place highly enough. My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything exceeded our expectations. From the smooth transfer from Lombok airport to the resort to the same smooth return trip we didn’t encounter a single hiccup! The dive instructors, dive masters, staff on the boats and in the resort - they all couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. The whole vibe of the place was perfect. We stayed in the A/C deluxe room and it had a comfortable bed, nice cold A/C and even a little fridge for our snacks. The pools were refreshing after our dives and the beers were nice and cold! Matt, Elin and Anastasia were always available if we needed anything. Anastasia was SO quick to respond and help us plan for this last minute trip and she knew ALL the great food on the island. Matt and Elin are working so hard to make this the best dive resort in the area and it shows! Please see my review on their dive operation as well under "Manta Dive Gili Air."
The island is very quiet right now due to COVID keeping the international travelers from visiting. NOW is the time to go! The beaches are clean and you will feel like you have your own private island when you visit them. Not all of the restaurants are open, including Manta Dives restaurant, but the staff are great at recommending food and will happily order any meal you want to have delivered. My husband and I follow a vegan diet and we found delicious options at every restaurant we went to. Bikes are such a convenient way to get around the island and the streets are SO quiet. Do yourself a favor and get to Gili Air and Manta Dive while the prices are great and the dive sites and beaches are pristine!

Since my husband and I wanted to dive with Manta Dive, it made sense to book an accommodation with their resort and it turned out to be a great decision. We booked the traditional bungalow which was very clean and adequately spacious. There was a shared pool just outside and it was usually empty as most of the people residing were there to dive. The service crew were very hands-on, ensuring our room was cleaned regularly as it tends to get quite wet and sandy after our dives. We also gave our clothes to the laundry service as we had trekked in Lombok and wanted our outfits cleaned before packing it in our luggage. The resort restaurant was great as well and we enjoyed hanging out there during day and night. Would definitely recommend.

As a couple in their sixties we spent 9 wonderful days at Manta, our base for explorations across tiny Gili Air and into the undersea world and could not really find any cause to be disappointed with the amenities or service. The local Indonesian staff were unbelievably welcoming and we offer special acknowledgement of the friendly and attentive service provided by Wira and Edi. The dive team who ran the open water course were highly professional on and off and underneath the water!

We booked our trip to the Gili islands and chose Manta because of its central location. We instantly felt comfortable there and loved our room, bed, pillows and bathroom! Always had hot water, the staff continually kept the grounds clean (huge task because of all the trees dropping leaves and flowers), the pool near the rooms was always spotless, and all the staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again if I get the chance in the future

My partner and I came to Gili air primarily to dive - so booking a dive resort was a no brainer. Manta Dive was a wonderful place to both stay with and dive with. we had a traditional bungalow which was very clean and comfortable, there are two pools onsite (in case one is being used for course lessons). All the staff are wonderful and there is a restaurant and bar next door for all your pre/post dive snacks and drinks.
Diving with them was great, they have high quality equipment, highly skilled instructors and divemasters, spare and emergency equipment on their boats - and showed complete competency with their safety procedures on every outing.
I would recommend this dive school to both new and experienced divers - thanks Rob and team for a wonderful few days!

My girlfriend and I recently visited Gili Air to Take our open water course and deep adventure dive.
We learnt with the manta dive team and had Oreo as our personal instructor. Oreo was awesome! He took two people with absolutely no idea, and made them find a new love for scuba diving. Not only did he make the process enjoyable, he also made us feel completely safe in an environment that previously terrified both of us! Oreo made made the process so enjoyable that after we were certified divers, we then went on to complete the deep adventure activity!
If you are thinking seriously about learning how to scuba dive or take any further steps in your training, please visit the Manta Dive team, and better yet, experience scuba diving with Oreo!!! You won’t regret it!

My friend I stayed at Manta Dive for 5 nights, it was a great way to end our holiday away. My friend completed her advanced diving course and it was my first diving experience. My diving instructor Rafi made me feel safe and calm throughout the course, and most importantly it was such a fun time in the water! Oreo was also another experienced diver that made sure you were always safe and always having a fun dive. We loved our time so much that we chose to stay an extra night, so we could go on more dives! The accommodation was very clean and everyone was really accommodating! We will definitely return one day for more dives :)

I had the pleasure of doing my open water course here, the staff were absolutely beautiful and attentive to what I needed. It all went to smoothly than I expected. Definately will have to go back. Although the music playlist needs a refresh at the reception haha.

Best stay on Gili Air which is one of the most beautiful islands I've ever experienced and I'm so happy that I've decided for this hotel. The check-in, the rooms, the breakfast and restaurant, the palm trees, the ocean view, the dives and the people there are unbeatable. The dives were magical, I saw all kind of fishes and so many turtles. The diving instructors and all employees were extremely professional and helpful and I even did my first night dive there with Oreo, one of the most helpful, funniest and caring instructors I've ever had. Thank you to all of you for this magical experience , I can't wait to be back!
