As a female travelling solo my single room was just perfect! Located toward the back of the casa - it was cosy and quiet. Pablo (the owner) was a fantastic host who went out of his way to ensure I was okay - during my 5 week stay I had a terrible dose of the flu, followed by a serious mouth infection and lost my purse on a bus! Pablo gave me medicine, recommended doctors/dentists and helped me get my purse back intact! The casa is a 200 year old farmhouse that has been in Pablo's family for generations - built from traditional Canarian stone with a decorative plaster finish - it is absolutely enchanting! With 5 rooms, 5 terraces and a large separate kitchen - there's space for everyone to find the perfect spot and enjoy the sun or shade - with glorious views of the hills and Mogan Barranco. The garden is stunning - with fresh dates, tamarind, pink peppercorns and basil growing in abundance. It is tranquil and relaxing.. Accommodation style is a cross between a hostel and pension - with 2 shared bathrooms, so don't be expecting the luxuries of a hotel!
