Spent 3 days here in September and were completely satisfied. I had read reports about the owner being grumpy but we found him totally charming. If you can speak a little Spanish then do try as it will make all the difference....even with the other locals. The apartment was basic but had everything you need for a few days stay in this delightful little town. The views from the roof terrace were awesome and the location was excellent. The only downside was the narrow steep stairs with the suitcases...if you have any mobility issues then it wouldn’t be the place for you. All in all, a wee gem of a place and for the price you can’t really ask for more.

Being for the first time in Gran Canaria a island of heaven on earth and in this Puerto de Mogan and it's gold sand beach, and where you can enjoy of a Atlantic ocean trip with the boats ables in port and also a artificial Atlantida adventure with the Yellow Submarine able in port, and also of a fairy tale walk into the port old town buildings full of restaurants, terraces&markets and surrounded by alley, flowers&palms, and being accommodated in this nice appart.of a spanish family and who unfortunately not understood english, well we also enjoyed of a nice 1 twin room at the based floor accessible on stairs,a living room with kitchen and a private bathroom with shower,a private closed terrace and a common roof terrace... MENTION: They didn't had a reception space so they welcomed us straight in our appart.where the maid still done the cleaning while we signed the check-in papers due that we arrived little early and at our living time the maid already waiting us at our door for to leave the appart.,so before your arrival better to call/message the host about your exactly arrival and living time... ATTENTION: At our arrival we was almost to pay another price for our room than the initial one which was posted online and just being there we suspected that were 2 hosts actually or one who wants more money since he asked us 2 different sums, cause our welcome host asked us more than the initial sum saying that a „plus” sum is asked from it's chief who will call us for confirmation but luckily that my boyfriend toked with us as prove the online reservation papers of our initial sum agreed and finally we didn't pay that „plus” sum otherwise who knows and surprisingly he's chief never called us,so before your arrival better check the online prices and also pick up with you as prove the reservation papers. -our spanish appart(nr.4)was 1 Floor accesible on stairs and painted in kiwi color walls, towels&blankets and furnished in white color modern style of table, chairs and wardrobe.. -our medium living room grey tiles with window to the outside stairs was equipped with a table,2 chairs&a sofa and Tv table with a mini spanish library and a grey kitchinette... -our medium grey kitchinette had gas, fridge, microwave, toaster&coffemaker and some plates, glasses&cutlery. -our medium bathroom had a washbasin, toilet&shower and paper, towels BUT no soap, shower&shampoo so we had to ask for it. -our mini bedroom grey tiles had 2 separate beds with 1 nightstand&wardrobe and we also had a private mini terrace with 2chairs&table, -the common roof terrace had sunbeds and umbrellas but for most important a special view to the locan landscapes that deserve all the price(the INITIAL one)... Thanks you Las Brisas... Gloria&Gianny,Arad,Romania

Lovely apartment in an excellent position very close to restaurants and the beach. A little noisy during the day due to building work next door. It had everything we wanted except a kettle, although there was a coffee maker, and there is a supermarket about a five minute walk away. Love Puerto Mogan for its charm and relaxation. Sitting overlooking the sea and harbour with a glass of wine is my idea of bliss!

Met by the owner at the bottom of the hill. Quick walk up less than a minute and we were there! He'd called while we were on the bus so was given directions on how to find him. The location was absolutely spot on, couldn't have been better! The apartment was clean and spacious, really comfortable beds and good kitchenette. We couldn't work out how to use the electric hob but scrambled eggs in the microwave was more than adequate for breakfast! Towels and hairdryer provided which was more than we expected. The sun terrace was lovely, giving us excellent views of the area. Only small downsides was no iron and the shower ran out of hot water very quickly, but not a big deal.***Please note. There's lots of regeneration work going on in the area and building work starts around 830am. No real bother to us as we're up by then but could be a problem if you're big late nighters! Still going to give this place top marks though as it really was exactly what we needed!

Nice flat, shame about the big hole next door... Having been a regular visitor to the resort of Puerto Rico in Gran Canária over the years, I decided to seek a quieter area to use as a base on this occasion. I had visited the charming seaside town of Puerto de Mogán on numerous occasions, and felt it would suit my purposes ideally. I booked this apartment online as it seemed to be well-situated, very near the beach and marina. When the bus finally dropped me off, the owner was waiting for me. As my Spanish is fairly basic, and his English non-existent, sign language was necessary. My heart sank when he led me up some very steep crumbling steps with makeshift railings, past a massive hole in the ground with a digger at the bottom, to the front door...The flat, recently refurbished, was perfectly adequate with all the usual facilities and was cleaned several times during the 13 days I spent there. Sadly, the enjoyment of my holiday was seriously compromised by the noise from the building site next door, with a jack hammer going at it constantly from 9am till 7pm. This lasted for 5 days, and just as I was at my wit's end and about to complain to the owner, the digger disappeared and I was able to enjoy my last 5 days in peace. In summary, I would warn prospective takers to beware. Who knows what further building works are in the pipeline, and I would advise anyone with any mobility problems to steer well clear of this place, due to the steep access. Given the problems mentioned above, I feel that this property is overpriced.
