Small efficient hotel in the city center, a very comfortable environment equipped with food stalls, Mc-Donald, a casino, and Seven-Eleven.
The hotel room is not too big, but clean and has an efficient layout with using a door for both shower and toilet. We stayed on the 21st floor with a good view that directly explained Macau landscape in one night.

The new Holiday Inn Express, City Centre is a wonderful addition to the hotel scene in Macau. The stay was just as expected, and from check in to check out was great.
Cecily Z was our staff member who assisted with checkin. She welcomed us genuinely to the hotel, and was excited to have us. The check in was easy, with a quick verification of my passport and health code, we were given our keys and welcome drink. One thing I really liked, that I haven't seen at other hotels, is that all of the writing pens were individually sanitized between each guest at the check in counter.
A small touch like the sanitized pens indicated to me that the stay would be completely safe, with cleanliness and guest health at the top of the properties concern.
The rooms were comfortable, and just as expected for a Holiday Inn Express. No bells and whistles, but you get what you pay for. A clean, basic, comfortable room... with just the things you need. The room provides complimentary water, tea and coffee. The bathroom was spotless and very clean. The soaps, shampoos and conditioner were also top quality.
Breakfast is included at the hotel. The staff at the restaurant were all kind, efficient, and speedy. The coffee was great. The meal itself was okay. Nothing spectacular, but I also wasn't expecting much.
Jane, who I believe was the manager does a great job taking care of her guests. Her staff all worked well together, and ensured all guests were equally assisted.
Finally, the location is great. Honestly, no need to take any public transit on Macau side as everything is walking distance. The free hotel shuttles offered from nearby casinos also offer direct and free ways to get to the Cotai Strip.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone needing a easy hotel in Macau. It's not a resort, but is close by to any of the restaurants, bars, or casinos you may need.
Thanks HIE Macau City Centre! I can't wait to return.

Room looked relatively modern, clean and had standalone USB ports, which I appreciated. I also liked that the front office concierge asked if I would like a quieter room, which was a pleasant surprise.
The included breakfast in the room rate was a plus as well and the variety of food provided was pretty good. The restaurant does get a little crowded during peak hours from 8am but the property did put up signs stating the peak hour timings for this, so this was less of an issue.
The location is pretty good too, with a supermarket and McDonalds nearby, as well as being within a 15 minute walk of the Casino Lisboa and Senado Square attractions.
It would be nice if the property's website could show a small map showing directions on how to get to the property from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, as I did have some difficulty trying to locate the property at first when I alighted from the bus stop after taking bus 102X from the bridge. Currently it only shows directions on how to get to the property from Macau International Airport.

This time I traveled to Macau, the people in this city are very friendly. The hotel staff can speak Mandarin. It was our first time to come to Macau and we were not familiar with the place. The little sister provided us with a valuable map and even called us. The car is very professional and very humane. It deserves praise👍🏻The hotel has just opened. The room is modern and the blue and white color scheme makes people feel relaxed and clean. It faces the direction of Grand Lisboa. The weather in Macau is very good in autumn and the room is full of sunshine. The two-way door to the bathroom makes efficient use of space. The breakfast includes Chinese and Western styles, which is very rich for a girl's little stomach. There is coffee, milk and yogurt. I ordered English black tea. The tea is surprisingly fragrant and has no astringent taste.

While the newly built Holiday Inn Express Macau is a great choice for budget travelers, it's worth noting that the TVs in the rooms are quite small, comparable in size to an iPad Pro. The quality of the towels is subpar compared to what I expected. We left our luggage for storage before checking in, but when we returned to the hotel, we were surprised to find that the staff had already given us our belongings back before we had completed the check-in process. Worse still, we were informed that we might have to wait until 5 p.m. for a ready room, but fortunately, the front desk finally found a room was ready. In general, we found the staff to be generally unhelpful. The staff did not seem to care whether we knew how to take the public bus to or from the hotel. The buffet had limited options and the quality of the food was average, comparable to a three-star hotel. Additionally, while the tables were set with tablecloths, there were no eating utensils provided. All in all, we will not consider this hotel if we visit Macau again.

After the Golden Week in October this year, I tried to stay at the Holiday Inn Express located in the center of Macau’s Old Town. When we arrived at the hotel entrance, we immediately saw a robot welcoming us at the hotel entrance. There was a greeting staff at the door who politely led us to the pick-up office to check in. Since we arrived at the hotel at one o'clock at noon, the sister at the reception desk saw our family and gave us the room key first to let us enter the room to rest. 👍👍The hotel is in a very good location. There are many specialty restaurants and famous attractions next to the hotel😆😆.
We also tried the breakfast on the third floor of the hotel. Although there were fewer hot plates for breakfast, the portion was sufficient. The best thing was that you could order noodles and eggs a la carte. . 😆😆

recently had a wonderful experience during my stay at Holiday inn macao and I wanted to share my experience there. The room I stayed in was exceptional, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment throughout my stay. The housekeeping attendant, Albert, deserves special recognition for his outstanding service. He ensured that my room was always impeccably clean and well-maintained, going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable.
Moreover, the breakfast provided to us was truly delightful. The variety of options available, along with the quality of the food, made for a satisfying and enjoyable during our stay. I particularly loved the breathtaking view from my window, which added an extra touch of beauty to my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend holiday inn macao for its excellent rooms, exceptional housekeeping service by Albert, and the delicious breakfast options. The stunning view from the window was an added bonus that enhanced my overall experience. Thank you to the entire staff for making my stay memorable and enjoyable.

First, the hotel is VERY crowded 24/7, and to check in, you need to wait quite a bit - it's a very popular hotel. Location wise, not exactly central centre, but it is close to everywhere else. There are decent food places near this hotel.
We first took the free bus from Lisboa (FOC) and walked from Lisboa. It's not very far, around 10mins walk. When I went, the hotel has suspended shuttle services, so taking the free bus to Lisboa is the nearest option.
Lobby is always crowded and luggage storage overspill to the lobby (but secured). One thing to note and is always appreciated is the late check-out offered to IHG members.
Room size is large, especially compared to HK. The room has a large working desk and thoughtfully provided lots of international sockets with usb ports. This means I can get all my devices charged at the same time (earphones, phones, laptop, ipad).
Breakfast spread is average and some repeats, not extensive, but decent and keeps you full. Some days, the veggies can come abit salty, and you can soak it with hot water.
We went on a weekday, and even then, it was pretty packed. If you check out at the normal check out timing, you will have to wait a few lifts before you get an empty lift (everyone is rushing to check out at the same time).
Overall, it's an enjoyable stay. Budget and has everything you need. It's post pandemic, and one cannot compare to pre-pandemic times.

Had a FANTASTIC 1-night stay at this property. As a Platinum Elite member, the front desk upgraded me to a panoramic suite on the 19th floor, which had a nice view of the city. The room also came with some welcome gifts like almond cookies, soda water, and a plate of fruits.
Breakfast here is excellent with a nice spread of hot and cold options. Check out the pics for reference. There’s also a barista making made-to-order coffees at the bar counter.
My only issue was the price of their laundry machines. Almost $5 USD to wash and another $5 to dry. That’s extortionate, but I guess par for the course for these chain hotels.
Overall, my stay couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

I like the InterContinental brand very much. This time I came to Macau and chose the Holiday Inn Express Macau. I heard that it is a new hotel with new facilities and equipment. The style is very young and modern, which makes people shine. It is located in the city and is very close to the Macau Ruins of St. Paul's tourist attractions. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. It is also very close to the Macau Yaohan Shopping Center and the Polytechnic Institute where the children take the exam. It is very convenient. The buffet breakfast is also good. Of course, it would be better if there are more varieties. The lady Xiao Yang and the brother Frank at the front desk are very helpful. They helped to arrange the upgrade of the room. The staff at the front desk are full of smiles and warm hospitality. I feel the enthusiasm of Macau. ❤️The room is also very quiet and soundproof. It is suitable for children to review their homework. The next day I went to the exam and was full of energy. When I came back from the exam, a lady named Evelyn took the initiative to say hello and took 2 bottles of water for us. Thank you so much. I will choose Holiday Inn Express next time I come to Macau. I feel the warm home here. The most important thing is that the transportation is also very convenient. It's great! !
