We stayed in the Riviera Hotel for one night in May 2016. The Riviera Hotel Macau used to be the Ritz Macau. The easiest way to get there is to take its free shuttle bus from the Macau Ferry Terminal. Get it by exiting the ferry building, going through the underpass, then going left. This hotel is located on Penha...

This hotel is close to Macau centre with a regular shuttle bus on the hour. The bus also makes a stop at the main ferry to Hong Kong. The room was spacious, bright, clean and tidy with a great view over the Pearl River and the Macau Tower. Rooms situated at the far end of the corridors are very quite....

Have stayed here twice now in the exact same room! The hotel has a great view of the tower, if you go up to the terrace area - from our room on the first floor, there's a giant building in the way. Breakfast is a buffet and the food is ok, but nothing to write home about. Gets really busy...

I stayed two nights with a friend between Christmas and New Year's. Our twin room was spacious and very clean. It looked as though it had been recently renovated, and I really appreciated the wonderful Chinese decor. We were fortunate to have a balcony too, with a view out towards the Macau Tower. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a...

Spent one night during weekend. We found the area very nice because it is very silent and it takes only some minutes to the old town or casinos. Room was very big and clean, but the breakfast was not very good. You can order an omelette and it was a good idea. Wifi is working well allover in the hotel....

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location was quiet and no convenience stores around. So if you feel hungry during late nights you need to walk 20 minutes to get to the nearest one. Rooms were fine and spacious enough but interiors are too overdone for my liking. And on a negative note internet speed is very poor.

The hotel is average. You won't go wrong, but it is not going to be an exciting property. I'd like to focus on the two restaurants on the lobby level. Amigo is a Portuguese restaurant buffet. We found the food to be excellent, with good variety and good service. Li Jing Xuan is a Chinese restaurant, and is substantially more...

I first stayed in this hotel about 20 years ago when it opened as The Ritz. It's up on a hill away from the main section of "old" Macau and nowhere near the glitzy Cotai Strip on Taipa Island. That's an area to stay away from unless you want to join the hordes of gamblers, vastly overpriced shops and pricy...

The Riviera Hotel is a wonderful place to relax far away from the busy city or Island of Macau, it has beautiful and spacious rooms with terrace and lovely view of the ocean and the Macau Tower. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful, with walking distance to the old city, however there is a free shuttle bus that...

We checked in the hotel with a value deal from Booking.com. We got two rooms for family of 4 adults and 3 kids. It was a very comfortable stay in Macau! The bed, the toiletries and hotel amenities are almost 5-star quality! The staff are very friendly. They literally came to the hotel within five minutes when we asked assistance...
