2* hotel, nice room, very clean. The little extra is the swimming pool on the 3rd floor terrace, very good for cooling off after a long drive in the heat. The breakfast buffet is excellent value for money. The weak point is the noise made on the stairs. It is reflected in the room, fortunately most people prefer the elevator. The welcome is also very friendly.

We were passing through one night. Delightful hotel with indoor parking. Comfortable mattress and soft pillows. Bathroom amenities and cleaning excellent. Little bathroom. The lady at reception very nice. Essential breakfast mainly sweet, great products. The gem of the rooftop pool with panoramic views. If I may suggest you would need an extra towel and maybe a hairdryer but surely asking was all available. Excellent value for money

Pension well located in the heart of adge, quiet. Very welcoming staff. The room a little too small for my taste, the shower very small, lack of soundproofing in the room we wait for the doors slammed.
Breakfast without more.

Very humid room! A VMC that does not work! And air conditioning that blows out air loaded with humidity and a bad smell.
I told reception but they couldn't offer me another room because they were full.
Can't use it!
Fortunately it wasn't too hot because we had to leave the window open day and night.
I don't understand how these essential points are not checked.
The positive point is the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the employees.

Great place!
This is the third year we've been there. This place is perfect. The family room is a joy, the staff is very kind, available, attentive and kind. The pool is super nice. Pension is well placed and quiet. Breakfast is great and served with a smile.
We will be back with great pleasure!

We'd stayed in the old town of Agde for 5 days so arriving at the Hotel Grand Cap we were very happy to find the modern yet simple design. A small paddling pool(not really big enough for swimming) and sun loungers on the roof, and internet access in the room felt like real luxuries after the stone walls and web-less experience of the old town.
The staff can speak English and are very helpful. We even changed our room because we didn't like the colour scheme of the first one without a problem. We had also arrived early in the morning before the check-in time and were allowed to store out bags with reception while we went across the road to the big supermarket called HyperU which has a really nice and inexpensive cafe/buffet.
Breakfast is a typical continental style with breads, yoghurts, cereal and coffee/tea/choco late. All very fresh and tasty. The cafe at HyperU as a bigger selection of hot and cold foods if you need a wider choice.
It isn't far to walk into the old town or to the beach or canal and there are good bus services which you can pick up in the carpark of HyperU. HyperU is of course very convenient (3-5 mins walk south) for food/drink shopping and more.
For dinner I can recommend Le Don Camillo which is a 15 min walk towards the old town (check TripAdvisor for more details).
Good value for simple but modern accommodation.

We stayed in this hotel for one night before hiring a boat on the Canal du Midi.
A very good hotel. Not pretentious which provided a very good night's accommodation at a good price.
Also they let us park our car there for a week without extra charge.
Would definitely use the hotel again

Stayed at this Hotel in August 2008 and was very impressed.
The Hotel itself had only been open 3 months and is located in a quiet residential area.
It is only 2 minutes walk from the big 'Hyper U' supermarket which has a mini shopping mall attached to it. There is also a very reasonable resturant chain attached to it that does good food.
The only downer on the Hotel is that it does not have a bar, I think that a bar is one of the single most important things...so was a little dissappointed at that.
Buses to the port and beach area's run from the super market and are very reasonable. The last bus from the port area leaves at 9:55 and you are normaly back at your hotel at about 10:15.
There is nothing local to the hotel open at that time of the evening so you are left to your own devices, this again would be acceptable if there was a hotel bar.
The beaches are NOT with in walking distance which you are led to believe. The hotel owner actually dropped us to the beach on the first day which was very kind of him......could not find a taxi to get back to the hotel but lucky for us we found a bus stop.
Avoid Taxi's in the evening as they are very expensive and some driver stink of alchol.
For a tourist with a car this would make a good base but think again if you do not have your own transport.
