    In this hotel if you pay as soon as you can you have cero problem the owner is CubanAmerican man very laid back he offer me beers from free no charge very helful took me to his other home casa amarillas right I'm front if the beach and intrudes me to his friends ,, took us to down town Merida...

    I stayed there about 10 years ago when the price was $16 a night. No hot water but the place was clean. While walking around town one night the town lost all its electricity for about 2 hrs. Everyone came out on the streets and walked around to moon light. I went to a local restaurant to eat and tried...

    Foders suggests this as a budget hotel, which it is. It is barely a Hostel. Beds are hard. No hot water. Owner was very friendly but Drinking a bit. The place is for sale.... $100000.. Best it be torn down

    Spend one night at this hotel. The hotel housed many families that seemed to be living here rather permanent. They eat their meals in the hallways. No hot water, infested with ants, dogs barking in the hallway during the night. The electricity was off from 8pm until we left at noon the next day. The toilet leaked water onto the...

    With not too many hotel options and most charging 900++ Pesos per night, (which we thought was unrealistic for Celestun) we found Sol y Mar, and we are glad we did. The rooms were a bit small, and the rest of the facilities may have looked very basic, but we enjoyed our single night stay. The hotel is located at...
