We just dropped into the Ocean Bar at the Armada Hotel for an evening meal while staying nearby. The food was outstanding and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar is very modern and trendy. The brown soda bread provided before the meal was simply delicious, a real taste of Ireland! The salt & pepper scampi is a...

This year we (4 kids, husband and I) decided to abandon the usual sun holiday abroad for a "stay-cation" in Ireland. We spent 5 days exploring the wild Atlantic way in County Clare, and stayed in the Armada hotel in Spanish Point. The hotel was perfect in many ways. Rooms were spotlessly clean with wonderful views. Food was fabulous. The...

Where does one start with this hotel? From the moment you arrive your breath is taken away by the beautiful views. You really have to see it to appreciate the stunning scenery. Then you enter the hotel and are treated to a first class service by reception. Our room was an upgrade and was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere...
