Wow! I give this hotel an A. Get the top floors. The white or black rooms are very nice. This is a gem tucked away in a nice part of Barcelona which is themed as garden. Our room had floor to ceiling window with rolling shades. Very clean and comfortable bedding.
This is a fantastic hotel in Barcelona. I recently stayed here on business. The building is amazing with great views of the city from the rooftop pool bar on the 27th floor. The service was great thanks to Fabio. The indoor pool was closed but the room was very nice. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was excellent.
This is a very good hotel working hard to serve guests during Covid. They went out of their way to accomodate requests that I had. The rooftop pool deck is absolutely superb and they were able to give me a room I was very happy with. There are some very nice local bars and restaurants open, and it's 15 mins in a taxi or subway to the older parts of Barcelona. Very responsible approach to Covid - never saw a member of staff without a mask. Great rates at the moment, and I would 100% recommend.
It was fine upon arrival. However we were changing, naked, and a staff member burst into the room WITH ANOTHER GUEST!!! She explained that this guest may have lost something as it fell from the rooftop above. You see we were in the penthouse suite and apparently this person lost a facemask at the building roof top… REALLY?! That’s the reason to barge into my hotel room without knocking??!!. They never knocked just burst in to allegedly retreive a face mask that had fallen potentially onto our balcony!!! At no point did we authorize this entry but they could care less. My girlfriend was naked and very, very upset at the invasion. It got worse. There were dead insects found, dirty towels left inside. And the following night the staff had a personal party on the roof top deck. It was so loud and we were patient until 1:30 in the morning. I telephoned the front desk to send the police. He refused to send police and said that he would handle it. It never got handled. I called the Marriott Ambassador desk and told them in no uncertain terms that I will not pay for this ridiculous hotel service. They said they would have an “executive” contact me. No such contact yet. What a joke of a place. Would never ever recommend staying here.…
We stayed there for a week to visit Barcelona. The hotel is top, good service very nice room. Breakfast is fine. Location is a bit outside of the city centre, but it was easy to use the Metro to go anywhere. Would stay again, definitely.
