This hotel exceeded expectations on location and ambience. Comfy rooms good breakfast you can ski out and back to within five mins walk. Just did what it was supposed to do for me i.e. Cheap place to stay on a two day skiing trop

We ate here twice recently (although we were not staying at the hotel). Both before and after a 6 day walking trip in the mountains and living on the typical French refuge diet of ham, sausages and cheese, the cuisine at the Hotel de la Vanoise was a welcome change. There is a relatively simple menu which does include many...

We stayed for one night at the Hotel de la Vanoise before hiking 5 days in the mountains. The service and the stuff were superb; the room was grate and the atmosphere wonderful. Breakfast was rich and tasty. It is a great place to stay!

Lovely place to stay and very reasonably priced. Run by a couple who were super friendly and accommodating especially considering our French was practically zero which was really embarrassing...The room had everything you needed, the restaurant is AMAZING and the bar is friendly and a lot of fun. Right near the slops too, only a 2 min walk. Highly recommended!

However, the real plus point were the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our stay as my father was diagnosed with cancer and had to be...

I had a great time and excellent service all week end, food was great, especially for family or friends. Ask Francis / Charlene at front desk. Veronique comes for in the room massage within the hour upon request.

This was a very charming, well-located and friendly hotel which was good value for our extended family overnight stay as part of a skiing trip. The town itself is small and compact and had a real French ambiance about it. The rooms were good, sizable by European standards, and nicely decorated. Breakfast was also very good, reasonable choice but no...
