Stayed here last nite and really enjoyed it. They have so much right here starting with their staff all of them were both friendly and efficient. The dinner was truly deserving of its two aa rosettes. These are hard to come by and I see they got them 3 years in a row now. Well done. Our room was v... More

Just back from a two nights break in Lough Rynn Castle. We originally booked for just one night. However having enjoyed the facilities, the absolute beauty of the landscape and the friendly atmosphere created by the hotel staff we decided to extend our stay. Lough Rynn Castle is the type of place where you are surrounded by luxury but at... More

A high light of our trip. This place is wonderful, the grounds gorgeous. We were up graded to the third floor attic room. We loved it. It had a small hallway with the bedroom on one side, which over looked the gardens and lake. The bathroom was on the other side and was huge. Great shower, beautiful claw foot tub... More

We had the opportunity to eat at Lough Rynn Castle for the first time and it was a fabulous evening. What a super way they have taken, what was a great old house and turned it into a really warm hotel with great period features. The staff we met in the reception, bar and then the restaurant could not have... More

I joined a party of 12 celebrating an 80th birthday. Whilst the food was fine rather than grand for a 5 star restaurant the service was less than good. There were a number of unfortunate incidents. Again not expected in such an establishment. I hesitated to join this event due to a major allergic reaction last time I ate in... More

We stayed here recently for a wedding and were booked in for one night. The grounds and hotel itself are impressive. Very grand. The wedding reception, meal and afters were very good, staff were exceptionally professional and service was very attentive. However, we were quite underwhelmed with our room. The room was on the ground floor and was a Wheelchair... More

Our room was absolutely fabulous interior wise with robes and slippers however no mini bar or bottled water in rooms. Marc was a complete gentleman and a great character and kindly took our bags to the room, he has a great personality for the job however, training was lacking with regard his dealings in a formal setting: twirling a tray...
