On approaching the hotel it was difficult to know what we were going to find as we entered from the car park at the rear of the hotel. On entering the hotel we found a very clean and tidy breakfast room , we'd entered by the wrong door! Reception was near by and receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and... More

I thought I was in the middle of nowhere then out of the agricultural landscape appeared a really old German small town. The hotel is set in the old square in the centre of the town. The lady behind reception was so helpful. I was shown to my room which was much larger than I expected. It was well furnished... More

My room was situated in the adjoining building on the 1st floor, the Stammhaus. There are no lifts, so you need to lug your suitcases yourself. There are 2 floors. Don't pack too much! But there is a lift in the main hotel. Two single beds in the room and those are small single beds. I asked for them to... More

The bedrooms are furnished more for business stopovers rather than for the tourist, and lack atmosphere but are very comfortable and practical, no complaints. Nice bar area, good breakfast and tasty restaurant food, all very reasonably priced. Very small town, quiet with not much to do, but well located for visiting Germany's Romantischerstrasse. Overall, a good hotel, recommended.

Excellent hotel in a picturesque village with outdoor courtyards. Fine large clean rooms with a shared balcony. Great choice of a continental breakfast - juices, fruits, cereals, cheeses, meats and a variety of breads. Staff were very friendly and also spoke English. Dinner at the hotel was excellent with a wide selection. Although there was a spa at the hotel,... More

This excellent and welcoming hotel is on the edge of the Romantic Road. While the room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, it is the staff who make this hotel outstanding. They were unwavering in a helpful and friendly attitude. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was spacious, clean, great natural light. The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. My German relatives booked a large family reunion here in 2009 and they were all thoroughly happy with the facility and the food and that is where we got our recommendation for this hotel. We were not disappointed in the least and in... More

Nice friendly staff, clean room but a bit cramped with the big queen size beds(which was ok for our short stay). Nice clean bathroom. Good hearty breakfast ! This was just a stop over for us so location worked out great for our early departure to the Steiff museum not too far away !

I stayed here over the w/end for a friend's wedding. The hotel itself is smart and the rooms are good for a 3 star hotel. They looked like they've just been redone. One thing I would suggest the hotel address is to provide tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Given the 88 Euros+Tax, I think this appropriate. It would also... More

We stayed here with three of our granddaughters in 2002. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the hotel and the town so much that we are making a repeat trip with three more grandaughters this July!! I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!
