Diamond Deluxe Hotel stands out for its cleanliness, with guests consistently lauding the immaculate rooms and facilities. Many reviewers are charmed by the hotel's serene atmosphere, further enhanced by live music and chic decor. The hotel's array of amenities, including a large pool and easy beach access, contributes to a comfortable stay, although some aspects may fall short of expectations. While the rooms are praised for their cleanliness and aesthetic appeal, some offering private pools and sea views, opinions on the hotel's value and location are mixed, with occasional mentions of overpricing and inconvenient taxi waits.

This hotel lives up to its name ,it is deluxe and a real diamond!
It is situated in a quiet part of town only 25 minutes from airport ,and easy to pick up taxi outside for 37 euros .
When we ventured into Kos town we were even more pleased with our choice of hotel, compared to all the big high rise hotels. It is small and intimate with a lovely vibe.
It was well worth booking the deluxe swim up room, they are beautiful and having your own patio leading onto the massive swimming pool was amazing. We never tired of the beautiful view from our room .The room was spotless, cleaner was excellent and towels, water and toiletries replaced every day.
The staff are great,in particular Voda in the restaurant who always greeted you with a smile and ran around getting your drinks and looking after everyone whilst cracking jokes ,a true superstar and also Mania who brought our beers every day ,I miss her friendly smile and greeting of Kalimera !
The food was excellent.great breakfast buffet which kept us going til dinner and a 5 course dinner catering to all tastes, proper restaurant food, not buffet style and amazing puddings.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a stylish hotel with the biggest swimming pool ever with jacuzzis outside and a lovely spa too ,this is the place to be .
Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful holiday, will definitely be back next year!

With the complications of holidays during Covid, I was transferred to the Diamond Deluxe at the last minute. I was unsure that the remote on-beach location would be ideal, but being ‘bumped up’ to 5 star made up for it, and reception booked a €9 taxi into town for my evening trips.
I had a deluxe well appointed room overlooking the pool; king size bed, huge shower with all kinds of jets, and a nice balcony - the door has a sliding screen, so I hardly ever used the air conditioning at night and the sound of the sea got me off to sleep every night!
The huge area of swimming pool is a moderate 1.4 metres but it is icy cold - bit shocking getting in, but just what’s needled when it a hot day, although the sea breezes take the edge off the 30° too.
As my time there was during a government advisory not to travel to Greece, there was only a moderate amount of people staying; no need to worry about a sun lounger, or a crowded breakfast buffet! The buffet was a huge variety of choices, from the English style hot food, continental cold, any eggs cooked to order, choice of teas and coffees, though I only booked B n B so can’t comment on the evening food.
Adults only meant peace and quiet sunbathing; the staff were there if you needed a cold drink brought over, but I always seemed to be the only one trying cocktails at the bar!
I could go on, but you’ll have to discover the hotels luxury for yourself.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in September in a swim up room. These rooms included a terraced area with table and chairs as well as a poolside lounger for 2..This made our stay really special as no panic on getting up to reserve your spot. Infact as our little area was in the shade until 1pm, we would have breakfast (served up to 1030am) and either go for a bike ride or go to the beach. We would be back in time for the sun and the room would be clean and fresh and bottled water replenished. Breakfast was amazing there was a menu and a buffet and they bring coffee and orange juice. I even had creme brulee on my last morning there...for lunch you could order room service from the pool bar and they would bring this over to your sunlounger. We did that once and it was delish but mostly we snacked on food we bought at the local supermarket. Drinks at the pool were expensive but the shop on site sells cans of beer and the supermarket is about 15 mins walk. We got bikes through the hotel at a good price for 4 days and went into Kos a couple of times for meals. We had the 5 course meal in the hotel once and it was very good quality, served in the breakfast room with the same staff. We also had the couples massage which was excellent and a good price. We got a late checkout for 90 euros, bit expensive but had access to our room until 530pm so we were more than happy to pay (our flight home was 940pm). I admit I was unsure about the location at first but once we got our bearings and got the bikes we just settled in and couldnt believe the week went by so quick. It was over 30 degrees the whole week. My husband really enjoyed the fancy touches like when we checked in and got welcome drinks and hot towels and apples on our pillows. We would highly recommend this place for couples looking for quiet luxury however I will stress again that you need bikes and a swim up room to make it 👌

What can I say? This hotel is beautiful. Spent a week here with my partner and we were both treated so well. The hotel staff are so lovely, polite and very friendly. A special thank you to the waiters and waitresses for being so attentive especially the little guy who was just about to leave to go to the army for a year (sorry didn’t get his name) and Edona who attended to us a lot. The food is absolutely amazing, so tasty and well presented. The only down side to the food was it could have been hotter but we still loved it all the same so another thank to the the chefs who must have been run off there feet planning 5 course meals. The pool area is emaculate, cleaned daily as are the rooms with fresh linen and towels. The rooms are lovely too with fresh light decor and the air con is excellent and can run on quiet mode through the night which helps light sleepers like myself. The private beach across the road is a little shingly like some reviews say but it’s a beach and you will expect that in places, not a downside at all and is very clean. The beach further on in Tigaki is less so and a short bus trip for 2 euro is well worth a trip. The bus runs just outside the hotel and takes you to Kos town (dolphin square) and return trip to hotel is from the same stop. There seems to be a shortage of taxis in high season as it’s so busy but calming down now so wouldn’t be any issue September onwards. The hotel is in a quiet area which was one of the reasons we chose this one but is easy accessible to busier villages. Strongly recommend Ampeli wine yard in Tigaki for a meal for those out and about, the surroundings are beautiful too.
For those who would like to hire bikes, scooters or a buggy, the hotel calls a local hire company and the friendliest owner will collect you at the time you require and takes you to the shop and once you drop the bike etc off, he will bring you back to the hotel. This is a great way to see the island ( remember driving licence). This is my 3rd time in Kos and it never fails me. Just love the Greek people and especially this hotel. You will not be disappointed in the slightest. Thank you so much Diamind Deluxe! We will definitely return to this little paradise

I have written many reviews on hotels around the world, and this is the easiest one to compile.

From the moment we arrived at 2am in the morning we were treated friendly and professionally. The gentleman that checked us in, realising that we had endured a long journey and were tired ensured that we were in our room as quickly as possible, but still ensuring that we had all the information that we needed.

At our first breakfast we met Samer and Mania, who looked after us for our entire 14 day holiday, they were wonderful, with warm greetings and friendly chat at Breakfast and Dinner throughout our entire stay, we can truly say that they made our holiday beyond exceptional, and are a real asset to your hotel.

We had booked Bed and Breakfast, which is our preferred option, but having sampled the 5 course evening meal we ate at the hotel for 10 evenings out of our 14 night stay. Breakfast was extremely varied, and the freshly cooked egg dishes were wonderful. All the meals, without exception were just perfect.

Our room, a swim up room in the 300 block was just perfect and worth the additional cost. We truly felt that we had the best room in the hotel. Our room was serviced every day by the wonderful Martine, I think that was her name as the ladies did not have name badges. She was warm and cheerful every day and left our room wonderfully clean.

The pool area was immaculately clean and tidy, being an adult only hotel ensured that peace and tranquility was guaranteed, and was never busy.

The gardens are very well maintained by an often overlooked team, who were also very friendly.

The bar area was also well staffed and the food here was also very tasty. The drinks are very expensive, and we felt that if they were more reasonable the area would have been patronised more. There is no evening entertainment advertised, however on Sunday Evenings a live musician “Classic Rock” was very good, perhaps in addition a midweek Classic Greek music evening would be a welcome change.

Finally, a Huge “Thank You” to every member of the team at Diamond Deluxe for making our holiday very special. Hopefully we will return to Kos soon, and will stay nowhere else.

This is a return visit as we were so blown away by this beautiful hotel and gardens the first time. We were upgraded to a two-level villa with a balcony which was wonderful. Just note that the stairs are quite steep after the odd glass or two! Toiletries were provided and smelt gorgeous. Tea and coffee facilities are in the room along with safe and fridge. The rooms are kept immaculately clean although some attention could be paid to the shower/bath area in terms of decoration. Having said that everything works well and was cosmetic only. The ambiance of the pool area and gardens is chilled and relaxed and there are plenty of sun beds. Beach towels are provided. The private beach is just across the road and very well maintained. The sunsets are spectacular. I have to say that the staff, especially the restaurant and bar staff, are so welcoming and warm. They really want you to have the best holiday and work incredibly hard to do so. Breakfasts have every option possible and the cooked breakfasts are cooked to order so all very fresh, a great touch. The Emerald restaurant offer a 5 course evening meal for 35 euros per person and is high quality. I cannot comment on the other restaurant as we did not eat there. If you are on B&B basis you can also take the bus into Kos for 2 euros per person which collects you just outside the hotel (this can get quite full in August and the timings shall we say are relaxed) or a taxi. The pool area is marvellous the main pool is huge so there is plenty of room and there is a smaller pool as well as an indoor pool which was closed when we stayed. You can take bikes to ride places and there is a tennis court if you want to charge about in the heat! We didn’t! There is a hotel shop that sells suntan, water, wine etc and the water was the normal price which is great for guests. To recharge your batteries surrounded by a beautiful hotel and lovely grounds then this is the hotel for you. The staff greet you personally and are so friendly. This feels like our second home. We thoroughly recommend this super 5 star hotel.

The good: 1) Staff are lovely and really friendly. Nothing I could fault with them. Everyone from the maids to reception to bar and restaurant staff were great. 2) Rooms are clean and really big. The welcome bottle of wine and fruit were very welcome. The only things I would say could use some attention are the jacuzzi baths (the jets had some limescale on them) and the slow drainage down the plug. When showering I found myself standing in water covering my feet. 3) The wine and cocktail menu was good. 4) The hotel was quiet and calm, which is what I was looking for. 5) The spa treatments were really lovely. Particularly the Balinese massage.
The ‘could do better’: 1) The ‘hot’ buffet food at breakfast was cold all week. 2) The food at dinner was often only lukewarm. My friend and I chose on some days to pay for lunch mid-afternoon and skip dinner as a result of this.
In terms of other things to know, it was fairly windy the week we were there (not sure if the reason is an island/a location/a bad luck thing). The beach is small, the sea fairly rough and you’ll need to watch out for the stony areas! Finally, in terms of location, there’s nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel so you’ll need to get a cab or hire a bike if you want to explore.

Very nice design 5 star 16+ hotel.
Very friendly staff. We are staying in a socalled swimup room, from the patio you can dive into the pool.
Nice clean room with great beds.
In the room we only have a kettle to boil water but no coffee making facility ! In a 5 star hotel we expect to have a Nespresso machine.
In the hotel bar we paid a record price of 5,50 euro for a capuccino !!
We enjoy our stay very much but we really miss a nice cup of coffee.

I feel it as a duty to write a review.
This Deluxe hotel is completed with everything needed for a perfect holiday in the luxury.
First of all, as you can see in the picture, the structure is a complex of beautiful white buildings that encircle a wonderful swimming pool. I and my husband opted for a superior room that is slightly more bigger than a standard and has a lovely balcony from where you can enjoy the view of the swimming pool.
The room is well equipped. In the bathroom the shower is very large and the beauty care products are of high-quality and good scented (I regret having brought mine).
Another five-star for the breakfast. Every morning you can start the day with a rich buffet and a la carte menu with some specialities as avocado toast (see in the picture).
The personnel is very welcoming and makes everyone feel a unique guest. Special thanks to Zoi, the beautiful woman who received guests at the entrance of the breakfast room, always smiling and sweet, and to Theoharis who was very helpful and available to fulfill our requests, making jokes now and then.
Another reason to stay at the Diamond is its location in Lambi, a good position to visit the island, not being too far from the vibe of the old town.
Moreover, the hotel has its own private sandy beach that exactly faces the Turkey coast and the island of Pserimos. A stunning view!
I hope to come back again.

Had a great time at the Diamone deluxe, much better than expected. The staff were all super friendly and the food was amazing. Nothing was too much for them and if you didnt like a meal, they would simply replace it with another one from the menu. They catered well for me being gluten free too. Rooms were clean and mozzie free and we had a lovely sea breeze for the majority of the week so the scorching 40+ degree heat was much bearable.

The best part for me was the spa treatments, i have issues with my back and neck and i had 2 deep tissue treatments with Theoharris (who was also a physio) . Hands down that was the best treatments ive ever had (and that includes physios, osteos and other massages around the world and back home in the UK). Even a week later, i am still feeling the benefits. Well worth the money.

Overall had a lovely relaxing time with friends and would recommend to anyone wanting a quieter holiday with good food, sun and treatments
