Perfect Greek hospitality apartments spotless great welcome from host and all the staff pool and bar lovely and friendly food great well priced .stroll down hill into town 15-20 mins fine walk back in afternoon heat much harder taxi hard to get in port .would definitely recommend.Greek night once a week really good .all family oriented.

The apartment were spotlessly clean , the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t cook anything so I can’t comment on the equipment but it all seemed to be there if needed. The walk into Kos old town took about 15 minutes. A taxis from the harbour back to the apartment was 7 euros, there was sometimes a small queue but we didn’t wait long . The pool area is shared with the apartments next door as is the bar area. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the food was freshly cooked and reasonably priced. The real star of the place had to be the manager/owner Pete. He meet us from the taxis as we arrived from the airport with a cold drink and a welcoming smile . Nothing was to much trouble he arranged a hire car for us , trios we asked for and even dropped us off in the town in the evening on some occasions. The man works extremely long hours and yet always had a smile for every guest and even remembers your name ! Service like that is not found everywhere and I can understand why he had so much repeat business. I would recommend the apartments whole heartedly. Kos is a beautiful island and if it’s an option I would also recommend a car to see the full island . We enjoyed our stay very much and I’m sure we will be back again one day. From start to finish we had fantastic hosts, Pete is a bit strange though, only kidding, what an amazing, friendly & happy bloke, he made our stay wonderful. The apartments we stayed in are modern and extremely well looked after, very clean and comfortable with great facilities. Small bottle of red wine and bowl of fruit in your room on arrival was a wonderful little gesture. The apartments are about a 15 min walk to Kos old town, this did not bother us at all and it was a nice walk down a country like lane. I'm always sceptical of reviews but i can honestly say that the ones for Gelli Apartments are all spot on and i have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place. We had a very good stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our appartement was always clean. The owners took care of the environment and the whole Island is a lovely place to relax. We always felt warm and welcomed. We are looking forward to visit Kos/Gelli Appartement again. We can really recommand this appartement.

Lovely place, staff were friendly with food and drink available all day and most of the evening. Self catered apartments were good size and clean. On arrival, we were given a map and many of the tourist places were explained including buses, and best times etc. They allowed us to stay and use facilities after check out (our flight wasn’t until 11pm) which meant we had nearly another entire day you visit KOS They took care of our transfer back to the airport and called a taxi for us. Greek night sounded great (we had other plans that night but it sounded like the place was buzzing when we came in) About a 15min walk into town (no recommended for people travelling alone or young kids walking as cars come flying up that road and although most of it is well lit, some is not and can be very dark at times but taxi is only €6 local shop only 5minute walk where you can get most things for your apartment. Check your booking with regards to AC, both there Facebook and our Travel Republic booking stated AC is provided so therefore we assumed it was included free, however according to reception this is not the case it is actually €10 per day!! So bare that in mind when booking as an additional cost. Double room did not contain a double bed, and was unable to push the singles together due to the wooden frame. So for a couple it’s not ideal. Pool and lounger area was decent size and clean and very relaxing and can be used between 8am and 8pm Overall lovely hotel if you don’t mind a walk into town and the AC additional cost has been considered.…

I stayed here with my teenagers and had a great 2 week holiday. The apartments are well appointed and kept spotlessly clean by Alina. The pool and surrounding areas are clean and well kept. There were sufficient sun loungers during our time there. The gardens are beautifully kept with special attention paid to specimen plants. Special thanks must go to Pete who works tirelessly to accommodate his guests and ensure they get the most out of their holiday. Mrs Katherine

Peaceful yet accessible location: Short (flat) 10 minute walk on a mostly lit road to Kos town while away from busy tourist centre. The walk was much shorter and easier than we were anticipating from reading other reviews. - Exceptional refurbished room: VERY comfortable bed, small well equipped kitchen area, great for preparing breakfast on the balcony. Very clean and great attention to detail! They take genuine pride in the quality of the room, everything is very well thought out to a standard you would never expect from a so called "2 star" hotel. It was a true 5 star experience. - The owner Panagotis went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our stay in Kos. Great personal touch by remembering our names and chatting with us each time we saw him. On arrival he helped us understand the island and which areas we must visit. Panagotis provided (and booked) us great local restaurants and helped us avoid the tourist traps. This included him booking a great table for us at an amazing (fully booked) restaurant to watch the Zia sunset. - We would recommend hiring a car for at least part of your stay, not due to the location of the hotel but to allow you to explore the whole island instead of just the nearby Kos town, without the hassle of public transport. There is adequate parking spaces which is not always the case for many places in the area. - There was a small shop at the end of the road that I am sure provides everything you need, for us we did not visit as with the hire car we could use larger supermarkets (Lidl) less than 10 minutes drive away. - The pool area was very pleasant with a snack bar open at all hours, clean and good size pool only 1 minute from any of the rooms. The area was mostly quiet and had a refreshing breeze on most days with plenty of shade and sun! If you are like us and are searching for a great value Greek experience, stop reading and book now! We will be recommending Gelli Apartments to others. Just a head's up Pool is shared with the hotel next door so can get busy at peak times, however we never had issues finding sunbeds and an umbrella. - The walk was perfectly fine for us but for those with mobility issues or young children it could be a small issue, However a taxi is only a few euros or Panagotis may even take you as he insisted for us a couple of evenings.…

I stayed in 1 of the newer apartments. It is a lovely apartment with good air conditioning, good WiFi and a lovely bed. Panagiotis is the friendly and helpful owner who will help you with all your questions. There is a nice pool with good sunbeds and a bar to get a drink and snack with friendly staff. The apartments are a little further from the center but this is very easy to do on foot or by bike. I had a wonderful stay.
