Yes the rooms need updating, the fridge was marked and you couldn't cook anything on the hob if you choose to do so as it was tiny but.... rooms were spotless, good size, good soundproofing and fantastic marina view Room 217. Staff were the friendliest ever, pool was clean and

We stayed at Kos Hotel and Junior Suites for the last week in September. The hotel is in a great position - if you go out to the main road and turn left and walk for ten minutes you will arrive in Kos Town centre with all its bars, tavernas and historical sites. If you turn

The staff here were second to none. They were all so friendly, vibrant and welcoming and never failed to make you smile. The pool was lovely and never crowded, which may have been due to the time we visited but it made all the difference. Food menues at the pool area were good,

Haven't seen any tribute bands in Kos Town. There are some bars with entertainment but it's usually a guy singing and playing a guitar or keyboard, very often in the Greek language. The bars in Bar Street churn out very loud music from late until dawn so that may suit the younger ones in your party. Kos Town is full of restaurants and there are restaurants and bars all along your walk into town but the type of entertainment you mentioned is not really available. However, I'm sure you'll enjoy the atmosphere of just being there and make your own entertainment. Enjoy!

Cost of 2 beds and umbrella at local beach? Thanks
You can swim in the sea from a VERY narrow beach almost opposite the hotel- There are beach chairs for hire there - but it certainly not the best beach. There are slight better ones within walking (20 mins) if you turn right out of the hotel- past the marina and away from town. If a beach is the main essential of your holiday I would suggest you do not go to Kos town but try one the Beach 'resorts' - you get the beaches, but lose out on all that there is to see and goes on in Kos town. One of the nicest is Kardamena, on the south coast overlooking the volcano island of Nisyros (worth a day visit).. It has excellent beaches and a pretty little harbour, and although tourist, still a village 'feel'. Re prices and eating out, I; agree with answers already give to you. However, we found the portion size for most meals was enormous- so unless you ache a huge appetite its worth considering sharing. All tavernas are very happy for you to do so, and you can try more things that way.

Hello, the hotel is located opposite the coast, where you find a pebbled beach. There are also plenty of beaches nearby around 2-3 km.
