My friend and I stayed at the new Diggs accommodation that is part of Tanjung Inn. The Diggs is accessed via the beach road but you check in at the main reception and also go there each morning for breakfast. I loved the new diggs, last time I stayed in the huts near the pond and the new diggs were...

If you like to hear the lapping of the waves on an unspoilt beach, this is the place. They also have lakeside options. We had a beach cabin, queen bed, nice sheets and very well appointed, air con, you can request a bar fridge. Beautiful gardens, wi fi in reception and lounge area. They also have bigger family cabins by...

Stayed 2 nights at the new chalets on the beach (think they are only a few months old as of Dec 2015), there are a total of 10 chalets directly facing the beach. You still check in at the older resort area on the right hand corner of the intersection (only one in Cherating point with the raised rounded design...

Very good location, you're on the main road and the beach is just in front of the hotel. It's a nice hotel but the room is very humid, my friends had fungus on their bed-sheets, and there are holes in the roof so it can rain on you at night... We didn't try the food as you can find cheap...

We stayed at the air cond deluxe chalet. The room was sandy and poorly maintain. I don't even dare to open the wardrobe door. It was dusty. New and clean bathroom. The overall view of the compound is nice and clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. I stumble upon few lizards roaming around the compound. Might be nice for nature...

An excellent hotel comprising chalets in a beautiful garden and close to beach. Breakfast is a bit basic but adequate. Plenty of nearby restaurants for dinner. Nearby Cherating beach is amazing BUT BEWARE of sand flies, especially in morning and evening. DO NOT go on the beach unless protected by long sleeves/pants or a covering of thin oil which works...

We chose the fan room for 3 pax for RM 90. One double bed and one single bed. We are fine with the fact that there is no air conditioner, no toiletries, no iron, and no Wifi. But we are shocked that there are cockroaches on bed and in the closet. And the closet come with no door! The mirror...
