Whenever we book hotels, it's usually the larger chains catering for the mass markets, so when we came across the Hotel Abaco, it could not be further removed from the feeling you get with larger operators. a little compact hotel somewhere hidden in Altea with a magnificient interior, adorable bedroom and a fantastic breakfast. A tourist delite governed by a professional hoteloperator. Situated in the old town with a lot of restaurants nearby and close to the sea.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Abaco and had a wonderful time. We had a two night stay in room Moulin Rouge which is situated at the front of the hotel and although quite small had everything that you need for a pleasant stay and is especially quiet at night. Thomas the host made us feel most welcome and Rita made us a good breakfast to start the day. Lovely restaurants near...

Amazingly peaceful and full of character, charming and attentive hosts, each room is a different period, We chose Parisian ....recommend highly.....Excellent restaurants are a short walk.....The breakfast is great too....

We loved every minute of our stay. The rooms are very impressive and a perfect showcase of what is possible when you put a lot of love into your hotel. Our restaurant recommendations were all spot on and we really enjoyed our new years party. The hotel is perfectly located between beach and old town (5 min walk each way)...

A wonderful small hotel set in a fabulous location within a fabulous village , A surprise welcome of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries set the tone for our stay. There are six rooms, we viewed them all , each has a different theme , each has the same exellant home from home qualities. You will not be disappointed with any.

Wonderful service, great breakfast and lovely rooms. The perfect hotel for a stay in Altea in the heart of the Old Town. Much better than the number of stars indicates. A fantastic welcome with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries set the tone for our stay.

My wife and I stayed at ABACO to/from Barcelona recently and were surprised at the level of care and attention that the owners have put into this lovely small hotel.
