Niccolo and his Dad welcomed us into their 500 year old tower house full of the most interesting antiques , bits and pieces. We were on the top floor . Room was big, bathroom good . The bells ringing from the church great . Breakfast in the old kitchen was fun to see everything in there and continental breakfast was good.... More

We were delighted with the 14 century Palazzo, which was furnished with genuine antiques - we had carved wooden parrots on our bed posts! However the heating and plumbing were all very modern and the bathrooms were excellent, as was the breakfast - a feast in the old fashioned kitchen. A wonderfully genuine Italian experience, hosted very efficiently and well... More

Dickens and 'The Old Curiosity Shop' comes to mind when you look at the artefacts that abound within the building. On our first day there seemed to be a little confusion about breakfast timings we almost missed a train as a result but all was well in the end. I did not experience the size or quality of breakfast that... More

For the first weekend in June we (my partner, oldest son and myself) spent two wonderful nights here. Having braved driving down the incredibly narrow old passageways we finally found our destination and immediately forgot the bad weather which had been our constant companion that day. We were warmly met and absolutely were breath-taken by our Suite which contained two... More

Marialuisa went out of her way to accommodate my family of seven. As other reviewers have stated, the breakfast is fit for a king...and his complete entourage. We were not hungry the rest of the day! The home is spacious, elegantly decorated and very, very clean. The bathroom was HUGE and something to be seen, for sure. The bedrooms were... More

Palazzo Lambertenghi is special! It looks regal and you feel like royalty walking through the hallways and the rooms. The property is beautifully decorated and well cared for. Maria Luisa is a warm and welcoming hostess. She prepares a breakfast for for a king and queen! She speaks fluent English.

Great place, you would not expect from the outside. 600 years old and you can sense the history of the place, with all the beautifully carved stone elements, wooden panelling and antique furniture. this said, the owners are lovely, the rooms and bathroom comfy, the breakfast copious. This is the place to go if you want to go on the... More

We had the privilege of staying at the Palazzo Lambertenghi B&B for a couple of days just before Christmas. The building itself is nothing short of amazing and the furnishings and fittings were straight out of a time long gone, but very tasteful. Our host Maria Luisa, went out of her way to look after us and the breakfast each... More

This place was wonderful to have a quiet weekend away. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and the rooms are amazing! The place is spotlessly clean, and the rooms were really beautiful. The breakfast is incredibly delicious and generous. Can't recommend this palace highly enough!
