Stoupa itself is a great place to get away from it all. Like a Greek island but without the hassle of the ferry. Good beaches, good restaurants and friendly locals. As for Georges, it fits right in. The place is pleasant, but not that plush....More

Stayed here for one week in September. Last year we had stayed at the Olga's which were dire - but owned by the same family.
George's is perfectly adequate as a base for the main activities in Stoupa, the beach, the food and the ouzo....More

So it's our 4th stay here. The accommodation is typical Greek and thus if you are used to hotels in Spain then you will be disappointed by facilities. No toaster or kettle although the small pan does resolve the latter.

Basic crockery for 2 in a studio e.g. knives forks spoons, coffee cups plates, dishes. Don't expect matching tea service, also a few pots and pans for snack use as there is only 2 electric rings. Not normally a bread knife... More

We took a travel kettle with us as boiling water in a pan is a bit of a bind.
You can hire a kettle from reception at a cost.
In a 2 bed apartment our friends were in, there was 4 of everything.
