The studio was nice, clean, confortable beds, everything in the room was quite new. The staff very friendly Good breakfast. Coffee & tee available 24h. Bus station is not far from the hotel, even if I would recomend to have a car.

We stayed here for 5 nights in late October 2016. This is a family run B&B convenient to Salzburg. While 5 km or so from city center, you can catch the bus #25 which runs right into the city center every 20 minutes or so. Recommend the Salzburg Card as you will get access to all city museums and the... More

Best hotel of the trip! Location: Quiet, somewhat secluded hotel sitting among residential homes. Close to a bus stop (within walking distance - 5 minutes or so) that can take you to Salzburg. We were able to see the mountains, too! Rooms: There were 4 people in our room and there was definitely ample space. Rooms were clean and modern.... More

Great location with view of the Untersberg and beautiful scenery, yet less than 15 minutes from downtown. Rooms are modern, clean and pleasant. Staff is super friendly, speaks fluent english. Breakfast is excellent with enough variety for longer stays. We stayed at the Essigmanngut for two weeks and will certainly come back again. This is a family owned and operated... More

Very quite and romantic place with nice mountain view and open green filed. My room was at ground level close to breakfast area with 24 hr tea and sweet. The hotel is run by family and they made us feel that we were in their home by welcoming us and even help us with our guide and tips with our... More

I would have given this hotel a 5/5 score except for one thing...the beds! They are hard as a rock. Honestly, I have slept on more comfortable air mattresses. Now that I have said that let me also say this is probably one of the best B&B/hotels we have stayed in. The location is perfect for all things to do... More

What s beautiful place to stay. So clean, such neat and well appointed rooms. Small places are often the best. The check in was warm friendly and gave good advice as to how to walk along the country roads, avoiding traffic to get to the restaurants.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was beautiful, staff were outstanding and the rooms were fantastic. It was very quiet, rooms are renovated and well designed, breakfast was the best we had in Europe - we can't say enough good things about it. We loved Salzberg and loved staying here. We had one of the larger... More

Arrived late in the evening for one night ! Great staff. Great location. Quietness. Clean hotel and room. Comfortable bed but too small size. When we woke up the great view with the mountains had overwhelmed us. Very good breakfast. Everything was so nice cozy and beautiful.
