Love that place! Been there many times! This is the best hotel in la Roche posay. It is close to many chateaux de la Loire. We even saw the Tour de France come through there upon one of our many visits!

My wife, one year old and I stayed here for one night. We requested a room with a divide so our son could nod off and allow us to chat after he went to bed. When looking online we had the option of a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchenette for the same price as a suite with living room. As...

Be warned the basic 88euro rooms are teeny tiny. the photos on their website show the base price room with a photo of their 200 euro master "porgy-bess" suites. The room you get for 88 euros is a bedroom with teeny tiny paris apartment style bathroom. Which i found to be odd since this hotel is huge and gorgeous. the...

Hotel set in good part of town for using the Spa Source, which is easily accessible either by car or a ten minute walk. Though this is not apparent on booking as you could be under the impression they are on the same site. The hotel was clean and comfortable...very French...decor a little dark and dated. The twin room was...

nice and quiet stay. U need to understand and speak some French if you go there. If you do, it can be nice and relaxing. If you don't , well, might be stressful, as people at the spa or taxi drivers won't speak English at all.I personally had a good time with my daughter, Off-peak season, just me and her in...

Room was dirty. Two boys had to share a dirty sofa bed (cotton bud and tissue fell out when we opened it) not the singles we had expected. Paint peeling from walls. Sealant around bath was black. Shower would only point so that bathroom became soaked. No pool towels for the pool that was full of leaves and not cleaned...

Have stayed there several times and have never been disappointed. Rooms always clean; staff extremely friendly. Be sure to get a room facing garden (cote jardin as opposed to cote facade) especially if you are a light sleeper otherwise you will hear cars go by until late at night. I cannot comment on bkfst as we always go to one...

“we did the low price room, it was 88 euros each. They were tiny, but they did work perfectly. I'm just upset because the photos indicated the rooms were very large and the actual room was miniscule. oh well. vive la france. p.s. for good luck in France purchase a Poirot (or Leek) at a local grocer and wave it in the air everytime you successfully pay a toll on the auto-root. This will bring you good luck throughout your journey.”
