Very friendly staff and a communal kitchen that's wonderful. Rooms are small and it's more like a hostel of sorts, I felt, but comfortable nonetheless. Great location. The owners are trying very hard and I wish them well.
We drove from Reykjavik all the way around the peninsula and stopped at this hotel for the night. The location is very good, especially if you want to head over to Kirkjufell at night to check for northern lights. The woman who checked us in...More
Probably the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in - super tight, only good for sleeping. Also has a weird layout (the sink is outside the toilet/shower area, close to the bed).

I cannot recall our room number and you would need to make any request with the guesthouse directly. However, I would add that the views 360 degrees around the guesthouse are awesome. If not the gorgeous coastal view, you can have a view looking inland which is hilly, mountainous, gorgeous. Plus, just stepping outside and soaking it all in from every angle and every view is beautifully rewarding. Don't limit your view of Iceland from a window - get out as much as you can and experience it all!
