We booked a few weeks in advance at an average rate (€138) which included breakfast. The hotel reception were friendly and we they do do an Aurora wake up notice. Our room was not in the main hotel, but in the annex 100m up the road. This was ok, apparently according to the hotel website these are budget rooms (wasn't...

Thankfully we only stayed one night. It didn’t help that we arrived in a snowstorm. We unloaded the car and went into reception, only to be told we weren’t staying in the main hotel, (they had a coach tour staying there) but in accommodation further up the street. We had to reload the car, with no offer of help, and...

What a fantastic hotel, right on the edge of the harbour with beautiful views over the fjords! The staff we so friendly and accommodating, offering help constantly and always a friendly smile. The breakfast was lovely, and the evening meal in the hotel restaurant was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

We were only here for one night on a driving tour and arrived to fined over a metre of snow had fallen the day before. Front desk was very welcoming although our room was quite cramped and a bit tired. In fact, the room next door was the same size with a single bed so they may have put another...

Room was of a good size and clean. Bed was very comfy and warm. The walls seem rather thin, so we could hear a lot of the exterior sounds in the hall way, but this was fine during sleeping hours. Staff were friendly, breakfast had a decent spread.

We stayed here for 2 nights while on a Orca viewing trip. Location is perfect and hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Really enjoyed the outdoor hot-tub in the evening. Buffet breakfasts were plentiful. Cannot wait to return to this hotel next time we are in Iceland.

Hotel is set in a small remote village, but it was easily accessible despite snowy/icy conditions. Approx 3hour drive from airport (for a novice!). Staff extremely friendly and welcoming, happy to help with any queries. Room spacious and clean, with an amazing sea/mountain view. Trip was for a special occasion and we had emailed in advance to reserve a room...

Stayed here for just 1 night. Location was great - in a nice village with plenty of charm. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Our room contained all we needed, it was quiet and bed was comfortable. Quite a clean hotel and well maintained, not fancy but also not old or run down. Breakfast was excellent, great selection and very...

This is a little hotel (two floors) with lots of atmosphere to it, both in the main areas and in the rooms. We had a room with a couch and a table, which was nice. Breakfast is very good, as in most Iceland hotels.

I cannot express how disappointed I was when I arrived to my room. Tiny, dark, very old, smelly and unconfortable. The windows need to be replace, the wind come in and the curtains moved all night. It was cold, I sleep in my sleeping bag and polar pyjamas with the heating on max temperature. The staff is really nice, its...
