Wonderful place to stay. The staff are charming and pay great attention to details and to their guests. Very convenient to the beach with a great pool as a back-up. Breakfasts are superb. We've stayed twice and will be back!

We stayed at Caraib´Bay Hotel for two weeks in NOV 2016 and just loved the laid back pace of the resort set in a tropical garden, a few minutes walk from the best beach in the area. The two floor bungalow is very spacious and above it´s star rating. The bungalow are furthe apart from each othes so you get...

We are just back from Caraib'Bay Hotel, where we had a wonderful time. We were travelling as a family (4 adults, a 4 year-old and a 10 month-old). We spent one night in the duplexes, which were roomy and comfortable. We then spent the remainder of our stay in Villa Kanuoan, which we loved. Villa Kanuoan was perfect for us,...

This is a beautiful collection of guest houses and an office/breakfast room/bar bungalow set in lush gardens near a lovely pool. It's on a quiet road (not the main highway, as many nearby places are, where we notices considerably more traffic noise) just a short walk to the nicest beach that we saw on the island. We spent six nights...

Had a fantastic time. Splendid bungalows, very specious and comfy, beautiful pool, great hospitality, excellent for families, never slept better. Will certainly come back and suggest to family and friends. It's also a great spot to visit the island

We had a wonderful week at the Caraib'Bay Hotel. The owners and all the staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. We stayed in the Ti Kaz Bwa villa, and we found it delightful. It was spacious, clean and offered plenty of privacy. Best of all, two of Basse-Terre's best beaches, La Grande-Anse and Anse de la Perle, are on...

We stayed in the Ty Kaz Buwa The small wooden house, which is right by the pool and includes a small kitchen on the terrace right in the garden. As a semi catering place, no room service is included, which was a surprise to us, but breakfast is provided in the bar. The owners who left Lyons and bought the...

Absolutely lovely from start to finish. Beautifully decorated, beautiful landscaping, comfy beds, wonderfully helpful staff, and a quick walk down the hill to Grande Anse beach. We lucked into the "villa" (normally for a bigger group) for our 3 day stay so we were super spoiled-- but all the accommodations looked good.

The landscaping is great. You feel like you're in the forest, but the great breakfast buffet is just up the walkway near the beautiful pool. You can walk down to a gorgeous beach. There are insects about as you are in the tropics, but the staff is concerned with keeping them at bay.

Deshaies is really to be advised as a base in Basse Terre or even Guadeloupe as a whole. This place is very conveniently located 300m from Grande Anse, one of the nicest beaches on the island. Staff is very helpful, the bar is always welcoming, from breakfast to cocktail time in the evening. Yet be prepared for rooms (or a...

“Try for one of the bungalows higher up near the pool and the restaurant/bar. If there is a chance of a sea view, that is where you will find it. None of the rooms are bothered by noise. the bar closes at 8:30PM.”
