This was a great place to stay! The rooms were clean and nice and had a veranda attached that overlooked the sea. There is an excellent restaurant at the hotel, and a large breakfast buffet was included with the stay. We ended up eating here for dinner both nights because the food was so good. The hotel has a beautiful...

I went there with friends. The food was lovely, home made, and so were the cocktails. I ordered informing about my allergens and they also cook for my partner according to my allergens and according how I wanted my meat to be cooked. So I had to remind them to bring him the sauce he ordered... I also had to...

This was such a lovely experience, Guadeloupe is beautiful and Deshaies in particular. Le Rayon Vert gives you a warm and friendly welcome; a family run business. This set of individual bungalow - style guest rooms and hotel hub is perfect. It is clean and the restaurant provides excellent food. All this and overlooking the spectacular infinity pool and out...

Small boutique hotel and restaurant overlooking the Caribbean. Rooms are in bungalows scattered on the hillside with private veranda. Pool, reception, restaurant are short walk. Quiet, clean, relaxing. Dinners are excellent. Food is fresh, cooked to order. Breakfast is buffet which includes fresh fruit and pastry. Staff are wonderful. We do not speak French but we always felt welcomed and...

Perfect stay, nice clean room with great views, very friendly personnel. Infinity pool is amazing and calm. Were not bothered by restaurant visitors around the pool. Restaurant on site more than ok. Portions bit large for us. 2,5 year oud daughter felt more than welcome.

Le Rayon Vert is a family owned hotel overlooking the bay to the north of Deshaies. The staff are all exceedingly helpful and we were grateful to the proprietor Christel for helping us retrieve our luggage from Liat (it did take 4 days so if you fly with that airline take vital things in your hand baggage!). The bungalows are...

We stayed here 10 nights and loved it. Le Rayon Vert is situated about 2.5 km outside of Deshaies on a hill overlooking the sea. Accommodation is in bungalows arranged down the hill, each with a terrace and sea view. Although semi-detached they feel like individual bungalows and we were never aware of our neighbours. The rooms are simple but...

We spent 3 nights here following 7 nights in the more built up and resort area of Le Gossier, just outside Point a Pitre. We wanted to visit Deshaies, the filming location for the BBC series "Death in Paradise" as we had seen the stunning landscapes on the television. We were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly, the cocktails...

Loved the island and beeches we visited. Le rayon vert is beautifully positioned and a car is a must. I would describe it not as a hotel but more of chalet accomodation with adjoining restuarant and bar. The rooms were cleaned daily and kept spotless. The breakfast was adequate. The restuarant at lunchtime is very busy with outside guests similar in...

I absolutely loved my recent stay at the Rayon Vert. The photos do not do justice to the spacious, comfy, clean bungalows and the heavenly pool area which I never tired of, be it morning breakfast, afternoon swim or evening meal time. The reviews were very helpful as you do need a car to get around. There is virtually no...
