Where do I start. On arrival there was only the cleaner there to meet us. She took us to our room then left. I asked where the owner was and she said he'd gone home. The place seemed closed as there was no one around and felt very deserted. The bedding was dirty, the pool was filthy with an electric cable sticking out of the ground, the pool furniture was broken. There was an old dog wandering around the place that we felt sorry for and we even gave him some water as no one was around and it was a baking hot day. Around 6pm the cleaner and her friend left and we were the only ones on the site, apart from the poor dog. I phoned the number of the property to complain about things including the bedding and got an answer phone telling me to go to the website. We went out for food and when we got back again no one was there and the door to reception was unlocked. We did not feel safe in such a remote location and anyone could have walked in. We got up for breakfast and the cleaner was making it. The croissants were burnt and we asked if there were any cereals which she found but these were out of date. The owner finally appeared and didn't seem at all interested in my complaints or prepared to offer me any compensation for such a crap stay. We abandoned breakfast and left. Wish we hadn't bothered staying there. This was our last night on a 5 day tour and it ruined the end of such a great break with all the other properties being outstanding.
