This is a typically camping made to families with a lot of activities. Therefore it is also noisy and lively. The camping is well situated direct to the great beach. The sanitary area where not clean and really did not meet the expectations of a four star camping. Groups of youngsters also played a lot of music. We did book for two nights at a pitch and wanted some calm and rest before going on travelling. Unfortunately where vaked at eight a clock by music. We left the camping after the first night but did not get the money back for the last night we did not stay.

Response from Camping LVL Les Ayguades, Propriétaire at Camping LVL

Cordialement

The infrastructure is outdated, the camping trailers need to be modernized. The location is great. The prices at the store are way too high. Great entertainment for kids and adults. Very professional and friendly employees

Thank you for your review. We are sorry the prices seemed too high for you. We invite you to compare with other campsites (knowing that we are in the exact limit with the beach). We hope you enjoyed your stay. Best regards

We stayed at the LVL Les Ayguades camp site for 1 week in August 2019. The facilities are good and you can walk directly on to the large beach. If you are sleeping in a tent then the bar/disco will keep you awake until midnight, and the laughing and shouting of the guests will keep you awake until 3am. The Paella is best avoided.

Very loud discos and complete failure to uphold the after midnight silence policy made for a disappointing stay. Paid around 2300 euros for a 13 night stay so was also a bit miffed when the handover inspector was threatening to charge an additional 60 euros for a couple of streaky plates water stains on the shower door. Had I known, I'd have packed the Jif in the hold baggage. Pool ok but nothing special, best aspect of the site was the proximity to the beach. Won't be returning, but concede it may be better value and more peaceful outside of high season.

Just spent 5 great nights at this campsite. Had a fantastic holiday. Location brilliant for beach, walking, cycling & driving out to other locations. 1st week in September good for people not wanting too many children around. Facilities excellent, staff nice & friendly, good bar. Toilets, showers, washing up facilities very good. Tent pitch very hard ground so take re-inforced steel tent pegs! Loved it, loved it - going again soon.

Weekend trip, rented one of their chalets, off season it was 60E a night - good price compared to a hotel room and a lot more space ! Chalets are well spaced, good mature tree cover in our section too. We were there end May and it was very quiet. All staff friendly, bar and restaurant good. Good children's play area, lovely pool with plenty of lounger space too. Easy access to a wide and long beach - it 's flat, so plenty of space for little ones. There also didn't seem to be many "pay for a lounger and parasol" sections, so it was much more natural. Cycle path into Gruissan very easy and well signed. We cycled to the Plage des Chalets and had lunch at Paparazzo on the beach front. Nice but I would guess crazy busy in July and August !

I went there with my husband, toddler and dog one week before big summer holidays. It is a beautiful place not far from the town but you feel to be alone in the middle of nowhere. It is better to have a car. There are buses but with 30°C....no thank you!... We rent a mobile home and it was nice, clean and very charm. The beaches are huge and clean but I can not imagine them full of people during summer...a real nightmare. You are not supposed to be on the beach with your dog during high season, but because we went before, we could go for a walk at 7 o'clock and swim with her after 5 o'clock pm. They have a wonderful park and swimming pool for little ones. My 2 years-old was so happy... I will go again with dog and baby, just to see their happiness! We didn't go to their restaurant.
