The hotel is in a beautiful setting, a manor house with a river flowing beneath the windows of the garden rooms. We were there in winter but the rooms were wonderfully warm as were our hosts, who looked after us tirelessly. They even drove us into town when we needed a lift. The owners are very involved with the history...

We were only there for two nights, but it was exactly what we needed. Big grounds set by a river, this place is where you go to get away from it all. The owners are a lovely French couple who are as cheery as they come and were very pleasant. We were situated outside of the main building, where additional...

This place is in one of the most beautiful settings I have ever seen. The garden is huge, and it is located on a riverbank, with actual Roman ruins on premises.Great swimming pool, wonderfully relaxed, easy-going atmosphere carefully cultivated by the attentive and friendly Management. It was like a fairy tale. I cannot say enough nice things about this place!

Definitely suggest that you look elsewhere. Room was very small and dark, food was totally mediocre. While setting is nice, accommodation is poor. There are other places within a few miles that will provide a superior experience.

excellence for a great price , spacious room with balcony overlooking the river, swimming pool and a terrace under boysberry trees, a typical outlook , and a typical buffet breakfast with home made pain d'epices and Jam. Minutes from Sauve at the bottom of the Cevennes , this is a great location for a few days.

Thank Anne-Florence P
