We stayed here for three nights and I wish it had been longer. From the moment we arrived we were throughly looked after. After travelling a gin and tonic in the infinity pool was perfect. The food was excellent and loved the afternoon home made cake every day. Snorting, kayaking and scuba diving kept us occupied. Will definely return one...

Hosts Michelle and Howard are excellent. They couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. You can tell how much pride they take in their beautiful lodge and how they have worked so hard to achieve such a high standard. They have a wealth of knowledge of the area and various activities available and are wonderful people. All the staff were friendly...

Small scale, very comfortable place to stay with terrific hosts who facilitate your stay in whatever way suits you best, from very active to quiet R&R. The location is beautiful. Apart from hosts Michelle and Howard and their excellent support team, the outstanding feature was the food. We loved going out on the boats to snorkel and to see fish...

We really enjoyed our 2 days with Michelle and Howard and their excellent staff. Danford Yachting is a lovely place to stay, everything is taken care of with an eye for detail and perfection and the food is absolutely great. The rooms are comfortable and tasteful, all with stunning lake views. Hope we can come back one of the days!

We finished our Malawi holiday at Danforth and it was even better than we expected. We had 3 generations of our family with us and everyone agreed it was the perfect venue, large enough to have all the facilities we required but small enough to feel that it was our "own space". Michelle and Howard were excellent and attentive hosts.

Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts Howard and Michelle. A very comfortable room, bar and dining room together with lovely food. The views are stunning and the sunset cruise on Howard's catamaran with accompanying feeding of the fish eagles was truly memorable. My wife summed it up on our drive to our next location when she said it...

We had a welcome couple of days rest in beautiful surroundings. Our rooms were very comfortable, the staff quietly attentive and the meals excellent. Plus a couple of boat trips including the fish eagle trip all added to a memorable short stay.

We just spent a few days here, such a lovely surprise and so glad they found room for us. Friends had told us how amazing it is, it was lovely to find out for ourselves. Our room was clean and comfortable with en-suite shower room, air con, fan and mossie nets, all opening out onto an amazing view of the...

I was travelling on my own and couldn’t have been made more welcome. Everyone went out of their way (without being too obtrusive) to make sure that I had everything I wanted, could participate in all the water sports or laze in my chair with a cocktail. The snorkelling was great, the round the island sailing exhilarating, if wet, and...
