We stayed at Te Aroha Motel in 2012 so knew what to expect. However, the motel has new owners and we were pleasantly surprised at all the changes they have made. Light and airy units with new linen, new heatpumps and i think the bathroom had been upgraded too. It was all very clean and tidy. The beds were really...

Friendly owners and comfortable accommodation. Just there for 1 night. The unit had single beds - but very comfortable. The room was dated, but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Had a great dinner at Austins Bar and Grill. Scallops were absolutely fat and yummy. Friendly owner and staff.

The moteliers are friendly and the rooms are clean, light and quiet. We strolled up the short distance for a soak in the local Spas and visited the i-site a vouple of doors down. There is plenty to do all within easy walking distance. Plenty if eateries close and supermarket across the road. We would certainly recommend this motel.

Motel is right in town so you can walk everywhere. Next to spa baths complex. Reasonably priced motel and good size room. Te Aroha is a lovely little village. We were going to stay one night when passing through but ended up staying two nights.

Despite having been in contact with the motel owners by email and including my cellphone numbers, when my flight was late arriving in Auckland and I phoned at the time I was supposed to arrive to explain and ask them to make some arrangements for me, they did nothing. I was left high and dry in Te Aroha at 11pm...

Sorry if we have caused you any inconvenience, which seems so totally out of style as can be seen by our previous reviews. We do try to accomodate the various situations that can occur, to the best of our abilities. Giving the date of your stay, unfortunately I am not able to recall the situation as you describe it. Small town motel. Handy to the hot pools and town centre but definately time for an upgrade. Was clean and tidy. Room has a heat pump and a fan for summer. Site was tight for parking. Wasn't able to park near my room.

We checked in on a cold winter's day, received a friendly greeting and were told the heater was already on in our room. Everything in the room was spotlessly clean, the best I've found anywhere. There are many flash hotels who could learn a lot from the operators. We have previously stayed at another motel on our frequent trips to...

We had a very comfortable night at the Te Aroha Motel. It was warm and spotlessly clean. It was well appointed with easy chairs for TV watching and even complimentary chocolates! It is centrally located so an easy walk to the mineral pools and the cafes. The owners were lovely and stored our bikes ready for a spectacular day on...

We stayed at this motel on the way to Rotorua for a long weekend and booked it at very short notice. When we arrived the room was toasty warm and clean with nice amenities such as cookies and a sewing kit, which I love. It is an old classic 70's Kiwi breeze block motel but decorated very nicely and the...

A retro look from the outside but extremely clean and comfortable. Comfy chairs to sit in so we didn't have to perch on the bed were a bonus, and magazines in the room a nice touch. Very good value for money.
