We've visited Barbados 15 times in the last 12 years and this was our first stay at Sugar Bay and it has won a place in my heart. All the other hotels we have stayed at over the years have been lovely but this outshines them all. Above anything it is the service and the staff that make this hotel....

One word for Sugar Bay - AMAZING. I was a bit dubious at first about staying somewhere like this on my own, I was out in Barbados for a friends wedding and needed somewhere to stay but decided to make it part of a week's holiday, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The staff were so...

Recently returned from a week at this hotel, and have to say we loved the place. The whole place is really well styled, and not at all chintzy as can be the case in the Caribbean. The rooms themselves are quite compact, but who spends much time in their room when in Barbados anyway. The room is dominated by a...

Just come back from a great stay at sugar bay resort in Barbados. We went from the 27th Dec 16 to 6th Jan 2017. A nice size hotel near hastings. Staff couldn't do enough and very helpful and friendly. The only thing if you like to go on jet skis you have to go around the bay to the west....

Firstly I anyone complaining about this hotel cannot be pleased and should stay at home!!!! I have been to Barbados in excess of 30 times and this is the ONLY hotel I have stayed in that I would give a 10 out of 10, while the hotel can't do anything about flies and rocks and stupid things like that it...

We booked in as a young family and we were shown to a signature room over looking the car park.... not a great start at all....as it's very small especially as we stated we wanted a cot in the room.... we also like other guests had issues with cold shower water throughout our stay. There for some reason is also...

Visited Barbados with my daughter for 5 too short days in late December 2016. We have been to Barbados many times and love the island completely. We decided since it would be a short stay to go the "all-inclusive" route this time and much to our wonderful amazement the Sugar Bay Barbados is a fabulous hotel. From the airport we...

We stayed here for Christmas week 2016 and had the best rest. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family. As it was Christmas we were surprised to receive a gift and enjoyed seeing Santa arrive on his jet ski....reindeer must have been resting! This is not, however, your normal 'all inclusive' hotel. You are waited...

A Christmas break for Mrs Fox and Cubs. The title of the review is good, but not great and that is down to consistency of staff experience. This is one of the newer hotel (you notice that in the bedrooms, they feel fresh), with that newness, there is not yet a consistent standard of customer experience. What I found odd...
