Absolutely stay here if you get the chance. The service was amazing, the setting is beautiful, I have nothing but rave reviews for CastelBrando. My boyfriend and I booked at the last minute, everyone was friendly/helpful/gracious. Our room was unbelievable - on the 3rd floor, giant double windows opening out to a view of the lush, green surroundings. The castle...

Stayed two nights in the hotel during our trip to Northern Italy last September. We decided it would be fun to stay in a castle during our trip and were not disappointed. The whole building is like a museum and parts of it host real museum. Room was very clean and spacious. With antique stylized furniture and decor it gave...

Valentine's Day's celebration! Beautiful view of the city of Valmarino out the window of our suite, #703, with the Dolomite mountains in the background. Majestic! Fantastic experience in the Princess Gaia Spa! Wonderful dinner at La Fucina. Walked through a maze of other interesting rooms to get there, including the old prison! Wandered the castle and toured the Museum of...

For the first two days of our honeymoon in January, we had the pleasure of staying at Castelbrando. It is a great stopover if you are driving from Venice airport to the Dolomites to ski as it is only about 45 minutes from the airport and pretty much on the way. When arriving at the hotel, it is clear that...

We stayed in 912 at the top of the accommodation areas. A delightful room overlooking the Christmas tree. This was a magical way to spend Christmas. We enjoyed the companionship of our fellow Albatross tour guests. The castle is interesting. Like any castle so many nooks and crannies. We kept giggling at our take the lift to 7, "change at...

Arriving on gray rainy day with fog enveloping the surrounding mountains…was our introduction to the mystique of Castelbrando Hotel. The hidden driveway up the winding pathway leads to the castle entrance…or ride the funicular to enjoy the incredible view. From the brochure, “We hope you enjoy the atmosphere of Castelbrando and appreciate its peculiarities, living the experience of life at...

We had a memorable reception after parading in 2007 in a deluge. The President of Italy arrived late and exited his car straight into the Town Hall of Vittorio Veneto causing the Italian troops to mutter. After returning to the former Austro Hungarian barracks and dried out we were driven out to this castle and had a very memorable dinner...

We are a couple in our 60s and well traveled. We stayed at CastelBrando in August, 2016 to attend a wedding on site. This was a great experience. We selected a junior suite as "lesser" rooms had been reported to be quite small. This was a good decision and smaller rooms were confirmed by other guests. This would not have...

If you want to be a Prince, Princess, King or Queen you'll just have to stay here if you're travelling through the prosecco Region. Sit outside at the bar and listen to 80s music and enjoy the drink and the view of the valley. The rooms are ok, we had a standard double room and it's not the nicest we've...
