Very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We knew it was “cheap and cheerful” but has everything you need and is kept spotlessly clean. Very nice pool with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Lively Amigos bar and restaurant. We had a very nice pool view room. No complaints about noise at night but apparently if you were in the other block it was noisy so go for pool view room
This hotel was basic but good value for money. The location was brilliant, you had Dover Beach across the road and the hotel was in the middle of the strip, in St Lawrence Gap. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned several times during our week stay, fresh bedding and clean towels a couple of times. There is a fridge in the room, AC, safe and pool towels are included. Our room was above Amigos so be warned it gets noisy of a night time, but not an issue for us. Just request a quiet room on the other side of the hotel. The pool area was clean and well maintained. Never had a problem getting a sun bed. You have lots of choice for food, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, We ate locally at Sharkys, Pronto and Daddy’s. The food and service was good. The is a big supermarket about 30 minute walk each way and the prices are much lower. I’d recommend the island tour, Troy was our guide who was informative and entertaining. Harbour lights was a good night.. the food was great and also Oistins on a Friday night for live music and great food. The reggae bus is an experience everyone must do!…
The Time Out Hotel is a comfortable, clean and welcoming hotel. The location is a 2 minutes walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the main strip on the Gap. We had a very good break with no issues. I noted many of the comments on this site regarding sheet change, cleaning of the rooms and staff observations. I encountered no negatives regarding those issues, and if I had an issue I raised it with reception they resolved it immediately. The sheet change and room cleaning regime was explained when we arrived and had no further issues. The pool was excellent. The only negative was the cockerels who do like to crow!!
Excellent hotel, large room, well maintained, clean, 3 minutes from the beach, really good pool, plenty of very reasonably priced places to eat nearby as well as in the hotel restaurant. Reasonably handy for the bus from the airport (3.5 Barbados dollars, under £2) if you don’t mind a short walk and don’t have too much luggage. We had a family get together for Christmas and had Christmas lunch there which was good and very reasonable. A few shops including a small supermarket and a bakery nearby too. What’s not to like? Highly recommended.
Well booked this last year never been to this hotel before but been to many hotels on Barbados well was very surprised to what I found all I can say is this place is superb don’t get me wrong it’s not the ritz but it’s in a superb location rooms are very spacious hygiene is second to none the staff were excellent always smiling and say hello lady at reception was excellent very polite and helpful even met the manager who was very professional and came and said he’ll wouldn’t think twice about returning back there as I go to Barbados every year so this hotel is definitely up there with with my top ten Thankyou to everyone at the time out hotel
Situated a stone's throw from the beach the locality has everything you need. Music well into the early hours (if you like that kind of thing). A number of eateries to satisfy all taste from hamburger and chips, chinese to of course Caribbean cuisines. Local people are friendly and on hand to offer assistance. The hotel has seen an upgrade since i last visited 10 years ago. A few things that would make a real difference would be spare pillows in the wardrobe, toilet brush, a small bin in the toilet. My bathroom door was missing the hooks to hang items. This being said...the 3 star hotel was a pleasant stay. Well worth the cost with breakfast included. Not a great stay for families due to the loud late night music ( double glazing or such would remedy that).
Fantastic hotel. Everything you need. Rooms are big. We had a room facing the playing fields and we loved it. We would watch the football matches or basket ball teams from the balcony. Or we just ppl watched. We loved the room. Location is amazing across the road from the beach. Hotel has a nice pool area too. Great bar with entertainment most night so u didn’t need to leave the hotel. Restaurant and bars only a few mins walk. The staff at the hotel are so friendly. Manager Alicia Farmer such a lovely lady. We were spending our holiday for a special occasion and Alicia made sure we were having a great time. Nothing was too much bother for her. And my husband and I could not thank her enough. So once again Alicia thank you sooo much. We would not hesitate visiting again 5 out of 5.…
Lovely relaxed hotel, enjoyed our stay, the cleaning lady was amazing really looked after us, rooms spotless, right across from beach and all bars and restaurants, people lovely, beach boys very helpful with sunbeds, weather great

Breakfast was good with Evening entertainment was fun Rooms clean spacious and air conditioned Tea and coffee available in your room. Lots of local amenities only a short walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you everyone 😊
Booked a last minute trip to barbados and a lot of hotels were booked so booked the time out the reviews are hit and miss for this place so wasn't sure but booked it anyway. The hotel rooms are very basic bed ,shower, and chest of drawers not really any luxury but that was fine for us we literally only slept in the room we did pay extra for pool view room but really was pointless we were out all day every day. The beds are very comfortable, the room was cleaned every day and towels replaced . The rest of the hotel including amigo bar attached to the hotel was beautiful very clean and staff were friendly and helpful if you needed advice. Loved the little court yard to sit and have a drink, the beach is just across the road literally 30 steps away , its in a great location for every thing. My only little request to the hotel would be to provide a room to change in if you had to check out early and was on a late flight. We would definitely return.…
