This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Beautiful beach front apartment style rooms overlooking the beautiful and quiet beach. Loungers on the white sand beach are plentiful and the coconut trees provide excellent canopies. Watching the baby turtles hatch was a...More

Beer is reasonably priced, especially Banks, not a wine drinker so I cannot comment on that. Alcoholic mixed beverages are expensive anywhere in Barbados though. I suggest you sometimes purchase wine and beer at the nearest market and bring it back to your room . You will find it much cheaper. Restaurant food is extremely expensive in Barbados. There are cheaper eats you can find that locals frequent and the food is usually better than the pricier restaurants. You only have to ask someone who lives there and they will advise you of good/cheap places to eat and you get you money’s worth. You do get a better exchange rate on the £ in Barbados than other counties do so you have to take that into account as well. I would not go with all inclusive myself because I don’t want to be tied down to eating at one place all the time but that’s just my thoughts. Enjoy your holiday.
Room only some rooms have cooking facilities, but the times I stayed there none of the rooms I stayed in had these facilities.
There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants nearby as well as the hotel bar and restaurant.

Hello, Hire a toaster in Barbados? Presumably, your hotel does not supply one in their kitchenette? Have you checked this one? We had one in our hotel. Options? You'll have to search the Internet. I did not see a 'hire shop' in the island - but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Whether they hire toasters is anyone's guess (usually it's construction, gardening, trailer equipment, etc.). You can buy a toaster. My search showed 'Courts' offering a toaster for BB$41 (and a massive BB$60 to deliver it; but it did provide an option for collecting it for free). Courts is located in Bridgetown. You could take one with you from Liverpool. You'd need to find a 120v toaster. You have 240v mains supply in the UK. Alternatively, take a small transformer with you too. Check on eBay different prices available. But, it gets messy and this is a lot of effort for 'toast for breakfast'. The Courts offer sounds best, but you'd need to take the bus to town/hire a car. We hired a car for the week, so travelling was easy. You could source a s/hand toaster in Barbados, but this again would be a hassle. How do you find it quickly? When we left Barbados - when we lived there - we took all our small kitchen appliances with us - and bought a transformer and wired it into our kitchen at home. We did take our waffle maker, but not a toaster (we already had one). Have a great holiday. Salute. Peter Steele 14Oct17
