Staying here whilst visiting Glenlivet MTB trails. It has been brilliant. The rooms are beautiful, the location is perfect. Val and Mark who run this B and B could not be more welcoming and helpful. A brilliant place to stay! It's first class.

Glentorets has become one of the B&B's we "always" do when we are in Scotland. Great rooms, a great breakfast where you can make you own choices, lovely people. They are always happy to see us and we are always happy to see them! If you are staying there, don't forget to ask for a packed lunch (great as well)....

Everything was right; reliable and understandable directions to get there, lovely quiet, comfortable room, perfect bathroom, and breakfasts were delicious (wonderful choice, Scottish-English specialties, and not too big for me, while being big enough and substantial for my husband). We saw pheasants and deer from the window. The surrounding countryside was magical, while the village itself was both historic and...

Staying at Glentorets offers a bed and breakfast experience par excellence; faultless in fact, hence 5 star everything! Hosts Mark and Val are warmth and attention to detail personified. Glentorets, in the picturesque village of Tomintoul, enjoys gorgeous views in every direction. The Conglass room was spacious and included a little desk right at the window with views up to the hills. The en suite bathroom with another big window looking the opposite direction onto more beautiful green hills. Shower pressure and temperature were excellent, and it was the...

We came in search of snowboarding but ended up extreme mountain biking at Val's suggestion, walking (also assisted by Val & mark's Mapreading skills and local knowledge) and generally having a great time. Mark's breakfast was sheerly elegant, the room was very comfortable and the location is beautiful. Thanks for arranging the herd of red deer too. Hope to visit...
