We are located one kilometer from Tenorio's National Park Entrance (Rio Celeste). We are a friendly Hotel Family of 6 members and we have 9 rooms and 1 rustic Restaurant where the same family prepare the local food with firewood and fresh begatables from our farm. We also offer Spa and several tours. Come and enjoy with us this Natural paradise.
The staff were very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. No A/C but the ceiling fan worked well. Breakfast was a little disappointing. My bacon was very salty. My husband ordered pancakes, which got cold while he waited for the waitress to bring the butter.

A great accommodation with even more wonderful crew! Thanks to Gerardina and her family our vacation felt like home. Great environment, lots of nature and very very tasty food! A smile is left by the communicative parrot Francini, who greets you with a "Hola!" upon arrival. But also many other animals (frogs, birds, dog Mini :) etc.) often made us smile and marvel. A super location to explore nature (national park), see tapirs or go off to wander through a maze :) We would come back anytime and will never forget Gerardina's family, thanks for everything! 💛

Great Stay, very welcoming! Simple, rural for sure but restaurant on premises with yummy food, tours like horseback riding just a few steps away is a plus, plus, plus. Everyone gave excellent service. We got 2 rooms and both were simple, clean, had what we needed. I would stay here again it was so peaceful!! If you want to feel you are truly away from it all, come stay here!!

We did not know what we were going into when we booked this cabin, it was a last minute get away from the beach. When we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful landscape and the friendliest staff! Everyone was so accommodating and wanted you to have the best experience you could. Just a bit down the road is a spot where you can hike to actually swim in the bluest water you'll ever see, where you cannot in the National Park. They also have spa services for unbelievable prices - I received the most relaxing massage :) I highly recommend this spot if you are looking to spend time at Tenorio's National Park - if just for the kindness for the owners.

This budget accommodation is very comfortable. The cabin is nice and the window has a screen. The bathroom is clean and has soap. You should bring your own shampoo. The only issue I wanted to raise is that it got very noisy overnight on my second night. I stayed in the front-most cabin and I’m not sure if the noise was coming from the restaurant area across the way or the connected cabin next-door. My first night was quiet and everything was good. But there was significant noise at three in the morning and then there was something going on outside at 6 AM. It might be the case at one of the cabins towards the back of the property is quieter. Cabin nine looks like it is standalone say it would not have the issue of neighbors. The restaurant is nice, the service is very friendly (but I’m not sure if they actually speak English) and the walk down to the river in your nearby is pretty cool. If you do that, make sure to wear real shoes.

During our Rio Celeste visit, we’ve stopped by Posado La Amistad for a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch. The Casado are delicious with great healthy variety like Plantains, salad and rice. The restaurant has a beautiful garden and even Wifi availability. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is a bit hidden/ offsite from the main road, but is a great option if you’re visiting Rio Celeste.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we did the horseback riding with David Tours. He was a funny happy guy and his English level was great (we don’t speak Spanish.) His horses are lovely, they are not scared of anything. The ride took place in a very difficult terrain, but the horses handle everything perfectly, so even if you’re a complete beginnere like me it is safe.

We loved staying in this place. The room was very comfortable, the grounds were gorgeous, the food was very good, but most importantly, the family were the best hosts! We loved sitting and watching the birds each morning while having breakfast. The private trail to the river was a great adventure. We highly recommend staying here - we will when we are back in the area!

Notable for its beautiful flower gardens, this Posada is in the country with rustic cabins and horses in a field in the back. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks in the garden, chatting with the parrot, and tasting the delicious home-cooked Costa Rican food in the open-air dining room. We walked to the National Park, Tonorio Volcano, along country roads, and we were able to see Lake Nicaragua from the road. A traditional Costa Rican breakfast was available for us even though we left early in the morning to catch the bus. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.
